Is this birdfeeder squirrel proof?

This Bird Feeder is not squirrel proof. However, you can add the Mosaic Baffle Dome (sold separately) to almost any feeder for a squirrel resistant design.

Waste of Money!

This feeder is striking and looks great hanging from the shepherd's hook I placed it on. However, the birds do not like it. I've replaced the food in it several times hoping to draw some in to no avail. Don't waste your money on this item!

Artistic Feeder!

If you are looking for unusual feeder with a sophisticated artistic look this is a good choice.I purchased the bronze color. It looks & feels well made and makes a great setting for taking photos of the birds. No it is not about being squirrel proof so you either need to hang it where they cannot get at it or use seed treated with hot sauce to keep them away. It is easy to clean and refill which will be fairly often as it only holds a small amount of seed at a time, but it's looks make it well worth the trouble. The birds really seem to like it too!

Happy Customer

Love it! Great color (I got the orange one). It was a little smaller than I expected but no complaints - it is very nice. Also, the bird food stays very nice in the feeder - it has rained twice since I have hung it out and the raw seeds get wet but dry out quickly. Very happy - just need the birds to find it though!

Getting popular

Took a few days for perchers to use this. Tried meal worms. No go but regular song bird seed works. Very pretty. Goes great with the Orioles oranges.
