Mosaic Birds Easy Hook Bird Feeder Hanging Steel Cable, 48-in

I still have 3 hanging in my tree. Upon arrival I inspected the item (something I always do) and could tell the metal clamps could have been stamped better. I used a pair of pliers to clamp the metal tighter to the cables. I then used a portion of plastic hose and threaded it through so it would be the part resting on the tree branch. This is always a good idea to prevent tree damage. I check the cables every season change to make sure they aren’t to tight around the branches and that the cable is in good condition. I hang the Bistro feeders from the cables in the nicer months and plastic domed feeders when the bird seed needs more protection from the elements. They are always in use. I am in the northern states and these cables have been through rain, snow, high winds, and all day full sun. These are my favorite tree hangers. One star was taken off for my need to clamp the metal tighter.
