the bottle extols "whitener" and "brightener".. It was used on a Maltipoo. It neither brightened nor whitened despite lathering fully into coat with a gentle 4 minute massage. The following day the coat was even more yellow than right after the bath. Don't waste your money, time or effort!

Our Clumber was overbred in her past life..spayed too late and now has estrogen/urine issues..her backside is completely yellowcfrom urinary problems caused by spaying...we try to bathe her daily.but she weighs close to 100 lbs. Our trusted groomer refuses to work on her..the shampoo does work a little..our vet is looking for a solution

Great deal on a gallon of shampoo!! It's whitening, and it did a great job on our palomino paint after a pretty muddy winter & spring. I was pleased, and you don't need much in your bucket! Just add a little Dawn dish soap. Wasn't sure how it would handle a horse since it's supposed for dogs. It works great and won't discolor colored hair. I used it on my black and tan GSD and my red Merle Aussie/Golden Lab. Smells great, nice lather, easy rinsing!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

First bath helped wash out the Georgia Clay color of Winston's coat. He needs to wait a few more days after his neutering for another bath. I hope the second go-round

First bath helped wash out the Georgia Clay color of Winston's coat. He needs to wait a few more days after his neutering for another bath. I hope the second go-round will lighten his coat some more. He's 85 pounds of Great Pyrenees and actually seems to like having a bath! Good boy, Winston!
