Mrs. Meyer's Pet Odor Neutralizer, Coconut Leaf, 12-fl oz bottle

I had previously ordered " mrs Myers odor neutralizer in the citrus scent.. I loved the citrus scent, so figured to order the other scent they carry which was the coconut scent... Was not fond of the coconut scent, the smell wasn't even appealing to my cats , not as pleasant, I think I will switch back to the citrus scent instead on my next order..

This is one of the better products I have used to neutralize pet odors. It smells pleasant without being overwhelming, lasts, and does not have a chemical odor. I have (had :() an older dog that had accidents and this was better than the resolve carpet cleaner at getting rid of the odor. Because it does not clean, I also cleaned. However, the carpet sprays nor soap got rid of smell. This did, and kept the carpet fresh. My tiny pets don't give the furniture bad smells, so I have not tried it there, but as well as it worked on urine scent, I am going to say that it would be excellent for that.

I really love this fragrant but subtle scent. I spent 5 to 10 minutes trying to figure out how to open the bottle because there aren't any instructions on it. I finally found a small tab/button on the neck under the trigger, which might as well be invisible! The only way I could see it was holding the bottle up and inspecting it, looking for any kind of clue (see photo #1)! Maybe consider a blue DOT or something to draw attention to it? Anyway, pushing this button will snap it open and closed. It sprays in a light mist rather than a stream of liquid, however in terms of "user friendly", the shape (and weight) of the bottle makes it somewhat difficult to hold while using the trigger to spray (photos #3 and 4), especially for customers like me with arthritic hands. There's no narrow area between the trigger and bottle to comfortably hold and spray easily (example: photo #5). The solution for me is to hold the bottle in my left hand while using the trigger with my right. The mist will spray outward about 2 feet before dissipating downward, so if you want to spray fabric, say curtains, you may want to get at least 2 feet from it. Did I mention I absolutely love this scent? I sprayed the rug by the litter box, my bedroom curtain, bedspread and carpet and various other places around my apartment. The scent doesn't last all day but it definitely freshens the air, and because I share a one-bedroom apartment with a cat, it's good to have a product that helps with those lingering odors. I can always spray Mrs. Meyer's Coconut Leaf Pet Odor Remover again! NOTE: 3 Stars for that lovely fragrance, minus 2 stars for not-so-user-friendly.
