This food was a favorite for Bunz as soon as I brought the box inside from the porch. He immediately started sniffing the box, and when I pulled a bag of food out of the box, much like pulling a rabbit out of a hat, he danced for joy. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the bag and put it in his bowl. There were freeze dried bits of meat mingled with a quality kibble. Bunz dove into it, wagging his tail during the entire meal. His coat has been shiny and soft, and he has been enjoying mealtime immensely. This food is very good quality and will go into the rotation. This is Bunz approved.

Muenster Perfect Balance is a dry dog food that combines high quality small kibble with freeze dried nuggets. All 3 of my dogs love it and have tolerated switching to it with no upset stomach. In fact, their tummies seem to be doing exceptionally well on this product. My only wish is that it had a little higher percentage of the freeze dried bits compared to the kibble, but the pups don't seem to mind.

We have never tried any type of freeze dried food or treats for our dog before. We like the consistency in the size of the kibble and how it is sprinkled with the freeze dried bits. We love the resealable bag and that it has a pleasant smell to it. Our dog is picky about certain oders from food or treats. He did not take to this at first but after a few times nibbling at it and walking away, he eventually came back and finished the bowl. He seemed to really like it. Our cat liked it too. She snuck a few bites out of his bowl while he was wondering around. I love the fact that it is pork with freeze dried beef. Its a nice change from all beef kibble for our dog. He loves both flavors.

The Muenster Perfect Balance Pork Meal Medley with Beef Bites seemed like a good quality option right out of the bag. My dogs took to it immediately—they were excited at mealtime and finished their bowls without hesitation. I appreciated that it didn’t have a strong or unpleasant smell, which is a bonus when you're the one scooping it out. While I haven’t used it long enough to notice any long-term health benefits, my dogs had no digestive issues. Overall, it’s a great product that I’d consider buying again. If your dog enjoys pork and beef flavors and you’re looking for a quality kibble, this is definitely worth a try!

Fancy has a delicate tummy. She has a tendency to get the poots if her stomach disagrees with a new food. I began phasing this one in a little at a time. The first time, she scarfed it down. The second time, she was uninterested and went for her old food. The third time, she ate like she normally does. So, based on that, I gave this 4 stars. Overall, she eats just fine with it, no upset stomach, no gas, and no change in behavior.

Choosing the right food for my 80-pound Great Pyrenees mix is important to me. With all the options available, there is a great variety of quality and taste (and cost). Muenster’s Perfect Balance dry food is 21% Protein with 10% gently processed, high protein freeze-dried beef and 11% fat. The first ingredient is pork meal, a highly digestible animal protein and fats that include flaxseed and salmon oil to support skin, coat, and brain health. It also contains various essential vitamins and minerals, as well as pre-pro-post biotics to promote healthy digestion. It is wheat, corn, dairy, and soy free. Having said all that, the true test was if my canine kid would eat it (I still have a couple of rejected bags of ‘healthy’ food in the pantry). After getting excited that I picked up the new bag of food (apparently, he had been sniffing about) and waiting impatiently during preparation, he eagerly devoured it and lick-cleaned the dish. That’s unusual because I have a dog that stops eating when he’s had enough and often leaves food in the dish. My evaluation of Muenster’s Perfect Balance is it's high-quality, obviously good tasing and reasonably priced for all life stages. We will be getting more of it!

Dogs ripped it open first chance they got!

My dog's love new kinds of food but hate to wait for me. I put this bag on the table thinking I would mix with their current food. However my terrier had jumped onto the table while I was in the other room, and pushed it over to my Dalmatian who sliced the bag open immediately. I was able to save half the bag, but they both had eaten around 2lbs already. Apparently they both enjoyed it, and didn't have any stomach issues thankfully. I would have liked the hard kibble bits to be just a little smaller for my terrier, but he ate it without any issues. I also liked that they have different flavors and ingredients that are not full of chemicals.

our dog enjoyed the food and had no effects from it. We like the fact that versus his regular food it was 2% lowser in mositure, 5% lower in fat and 2% lower in mositure. Perfect Balance was 5% lower in protein but they were over 7% higher in beef. Another plus was Perfect was good for seniors, and with him being 11 years old its time to consider that age in our choices.
