Squeaker broke within the first hour of playing with it. My dog has many lambchop toys with the squeakers still working and fine so it’s not that she is too rough with them.

Lamb Chop and my Golden Retriever
When Remy was less than a year old, she fell head over heals for Lamby! She was about 4 years old when she stopped gutting them. Yes - plural!! At one point she had a small army of five and wouldn’t go outside without a Lamb. She would always sniff the pile to determine which one was coming along with her. Remy died in September 20th, from diabetes and her entire endocrine system was failing. She was 11.6 years old, and I had them cremate her with one of her well loved (and clean as the entire flock went for a ride in the Washer the night before) so she could run over the Rainbow Bridge, holding a Lamb in her mouth! So to those of you who know their Golden, or any other dog, LOVES that particular toy, it may actually stop gutting Lamb Chop one day! Kind of like a 12 step program for those who MUST bite the squeaker out of Lamb Chop!! Please kiss ALL your pups for me!

My dog was not attracted at first to this stuff fabric toy. She preferred rubber balls for fetch, and other rubbery type toys. But oddly enough she started playing with Lambchop just yesterday despite it arriving a good 2 months ago! Cute toy. My dog just seems to prefer balls first and other rubbery type toys
