does it have a safety stop if chick is in the doorway

The closing mechanism of the door operates on tension/weight on the line. The door will continue closing as long as there is tension/weight on the line and when the weight goes away, such as when the door is closed or something gets in the way of closing, it will stop closing until the obstruction moves.

The life of the battery lasts long time. I change the battery maybe once year. I never need to worry about the chickens because it closes and opens with the sun

The life of the battery lasts long time. I change the battery maybe once year. I never need to worry about the chickens because it closes and opens with the sun or you can choose the time to time setting, I used the time setting a little, I prefer the light to light setting..but it is very reliable!! Oh it is user Friendly, easy to install and use. I have used this product for years. Thank you for making a great product.

Why is there no lock on this door. So frustrated. This item destroyed my secure locked coop. It is no longer secure.
