Poor design for assembly

The screws that hold the tray and base together are too small for the holes predrilled in the tray. Also the screws would have been too long and the sharp points would have hurt the birds trying to eat. I had to replace the screws and put caps on them so the birds would not get hurt. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

I really liked the look of this tray. It’s easy to refill. I like that I could set a bowl on it if I wanted to have some other type of food available. However, after having it outside for a few months, the crows have actually taken one of the corners completely off. They just kept pecking at it until it broke a corner off. I have to figure out what to order to replace this. Maybe something metal? (Note: The crow in the picture had 5 whole peanuts in its mouth!)
Perfect fit for post-mounted feeder!
Great product! I don’t think the hooks are needed and leaving the holes unplugged offers better drainage.

Vintage Looking Bird Feeder Tray
I love the vintage look of these birdfeeder trays that hang right on your fence post. The birds love them! They are well-made with a heavy plastic! I would buy them

Thought it was metal
Didn't realize this item was plastic, image looked like metal/shiny. This is a flat plastic. Very worried squirrels will destroy this trying to feed. Should survive

Perfect
Sturdy and larger than expected. Squirrels, birds, and raccoons use this stand that sits about 6 feet off the ground on a red maple. It has gone through 2 hurricanes

Lets bigger birds also eat seeds but also has cons
I like this because the bigger birds can also eat however be warned. They will also take over. In my yard, it's the mourning doves that will plop themselves right
I like this because the bigger birds can also eat however be warned. They will also take over. In my yard, it's the mourning doves that will plop themselves right in the middle and not let other birds eat. They will also poop right in it. And if you have a problem with the squirrels, they will feast on this. I personally don't mind the squirrels, I let them eat. Also, as for cleaning, since it's mounted, it's not easy to remove to clean. I hose it down every day and clean with a gentle soap and brush. Not feasible in the winter however. That's the only real drawback in my opinion. I also had to make some more holes and enlarge the existing holes because too much seed got stuck especially when it rains. So if you don't mind squirrels and big birds and the inconvenience when cleaning, this will work. I just bought a second since I have a lot of activity in my yard and 1 doesn't seem to be enough.
