My 9 week old, 5# Cavapoo puppy learned to climb out of her playpen after a week. We ordered a top for it and it still didn't keep her in it. It's nicely made...the door is a little hard to open, but needs to be at least a foot or more taller. I was sad that this didn't work for her.
worked great for lab poppy at night
right next to the bed so she had no accidents as she got taller I put a blanket over the top and tucked in on the sides and rear till she was ready for the bed

This thing is a literal piece of garbage. I tried to unfold it for the first time today to move it and it was so loud and a piece of plastic popped off at the hinge

The hinges ratchet to keep the angles between panels fixed at specific increments, ultimately to keep them at 90 degrees. But just try to open it up from the collapsed position, and you need to use so much force that it seems the hinge will break. Not a pleasant experience, and I cringe at the thought of taking it down and using it elsewhere. I would never have bought this item is I knew this would happen. 2) The door is really feisty. Once it's locked, and I try to open it, is gets stuck about half the time. There are some magical techniques that do the job, but I keep forgetting. (Pull the unlock slider, pull door out, lift a little, and pray.) What a lousy design!

Fits the Requirements
This is a great play pen for our active puppy. We built to be 6-sided. Only complaint - the gate is extremely difficult to open and close.
