Great product, but top is difficult to open

I love the packaging, but the top metal section that has the scoop & seals the powder inside better is very difficult to open. It's a good seal, but I would hope

I love the packaging, but the top metal section that has the scoop & seals the powder inside better is very difficult to open. It's a good seal, but I would hope they would make it easier to open in the future for those that may struggle more with that. It smells like fish food so not a great smell, but mixing it with water over top their dry food is what works for me. My one dog can be picky so after a few times of eating it on his meals, all of a sudden he wouldn't eat his food anymore with it on top. Not best for picky eaters & is hard to say if it actually helped with hip/joints as my dogs don't have issues with that now, I used it as a preventative.

Product Review: Native Pet Hip & Joint Advanced Care I tried Native Pet Hip & Joint Advanced Care for my German Shepherd, who is 75 pounds and just shy of 9 years old. He’s still very active and goes on daily walks of about 2–3 miles, so joint support is important for us. One thing I really appreciated right away was that the smell was not overwhelming at all. The product came in a sturdy canister and included its own scoop, which made measuring easy. My dog absolutely loved it sprinkled on top of his food—there was no hesitation at mealtime, which is always a win. That said, for a dog of his size, the container only lasted about 10 days. The serving size is a fairly large amount of powder, and while that may be appropriate for effectiveness, it wasn’t the most convenient for my routine. I usually feed him using a snuffle mat because he eats very fast, but due to the amount of powder, I had to switch to a bowl so I could mix it in properly. While my dog enjoyed it and tolerated it very well, the combination of the large powder serving and the short duration of the container means it’s probably not something I would continue purchasing long-term. Personally, I’d likely look for a joint supplement in a chew form or something easier to administer moving forward. Overall, it’s a quality product that my dog enjoyed, with thoughtful packaging and a mild smell—but the format and short supply for larger dogs didn’t quite fit our needs.

Unfortunately, I have to give this product a mediocre review. I could not get my dog to eat it to start, and he's not a picky eater. It's a powder form which if you feed your dog dry dog food, it isn't optimal as a mix-in. I do not feel the instructions/ dosage guidelines are very helpful. They do okay on saying how much but they don't say if it's per day or per meal. Very unclear to me. But the biggest issue is that it does not mix in with dry food and dogs are not going to eat a powder, And me Cody use this product to see if it would have been beneficial for my senior dog.

I have a 50 lb mutt who is almost 13 now. She's been dealing with joint issues since she was about 8 years old. I used dasequon for a long time since that's what the vet reccomended at the time- but after a while it wasn't really helping anymore. She recently suffered a partial tear in her knee- but due to her age surgery wasn't reccommended. The recovery was slow but as soon as I started giving her this I could see her muscles and strength coming back. She had lost a lot of muscle tone in her back legs after the injury. She is walking a lot better now which makes me really happy.

I’ve been giving my dog the Native Pet Advanced Care Hip & Joint Supplement (Beef Flavored Powder) for a few weeks now, and the difference has been impressive. My dog was starting to slow down and seemed stiff after walks, but since adding this supplement, he’s moving more comfortably and has a lot more energy. The beef flavor is a huge plus, he eats it happily with his meals and doesn’t leave anything behind. I also appreciate the high-quality ingredients and the fact that it’s easy to sprinkle and mix, with no mess or strong smell. If your dog needs extra joint support, especially as they get older or stay very active, this supplement is a great option. I’m really happy with the results and will definitely continue using it.

My dog seems to be taking to this well, he has muscle weakness in his old age and is always tripping or falling over and I have noticed a bit of a decrease since giving him this with his breakfast.

I started using Native Pet Advanced Care Beef Flavored Powder Hip & Joint Supplement for my senior dog Joey, and I’m genuinely impressed. The powder mixes easily with his food, and he has no trouble eating it thanks to the beef flavor. I’ve noticed Ewok moving more comfortably and seeming more at ease during his daily routines.
