Not worth the money!
I have five cats, four of whom are very picky eaters. I bought this in the hopes that I could hide medicine in it when needed. I mixed some up to see who would eat it, out of the five cats only one had any interest and she didn't even finish the bowl, which didn't contain a lot to begin with. I'm very disappointed and upset with the loss of $20 . The packaging sucks, trying to tear the top off the bag is useless, and I tried to cut it off and that wasn't easy either. And then the Ziploc doesn't zip because there's so much of the product in the seal that it won't seal. Don't waste your time or money on this product. Especially if you have picky eaters!
Amazing Topper!
My Chow/Australian Shepherd and I both love it. He loves the flavor and I love the ease. The instructions state you can mix it in dry or with some water, typically I mix in dry. It sticks so well to the kibble that I don't feel like he needs it to be wet and he typically eats his whole bowl when I put it in. This goes in the Autoship!
Messy old packaging
It seems Native Pet went through some updates/rebranding. I bought the old version and the bag was a nightmare, couldn't reseal it and was a mess. I lost a lot of product transferring it elsewhere and there is no spoon to measure either. Didn't see a difference in my picky eaters wanting to eat this. They don't hate it though and didn't experience any upset tummies but will not repurchase.
Chicken Version Made My Dog Sick
My dog absolutely loved eating it so it must taste excellent. However, 10 minutes after finishing dinner with this as a very diluted broth, his stomach made loud noises and he started passing gas. He had terrible diarrhea for the following 6 hours that night and the next morning he was lethargic. I haven’t tried the beef version so I don’t know if the same results would occur but not willing to find out.
Aussie loves this
My dog loves this. I wish it was a bit more affordable though because I feel like the 5 oz goes so quickly, but regardless its easy to use and helps add hydration to my dog's meal.
terrible bag, fine otherwise.
One cat loves it, the other hates it. Such is the way haha. Good product, dissolves and mixes quickly. The bag closure is a mess though, doesn’t close because it gets full of powder that won’t come off the ridges. I have to seal it with a bag clip and it doesn’t really do the job as effectively as a bag that would actually seal.
Messy not worth it
Likely will not order again due to the packaging. It needs to be in a tub. As you can see from the photos it is so compressed in this upright package that I cannot shake it down so that when I open it it will not make a huge mess. It needs to be in a container or jar
love this but not the new container
My dog loves this, but I will not be reordering it again because they changed the delivery from a can to a bag. This may save money but creates a big mess when you are trying to scoop it out. I did empty it into one of my bowls but bring back the can.
Super convenient way to keep my dog hydrated!
My dog sometimes struggles with drinking enough fluids. In the summertime, keeping her hydrated is especially important since it’s so hot out. I mixed up some of this broth and added it to her kibble and she absolutely LOVED it and licked up every drop. I love how convenient this is. With other premixed broths I’ve bought before, you have to use the entire pouch once opened. Being able to mix up broth as we need it is super convenient and less wasteful. I’ve also found this is a great option for traveling, as I can measure out the powder I’ll need in a plastic baggie and mix it once we need it. Definitely would recommend this.
our dog LOVES it!!
Our dog is a picker eater, so we've been looking for toppers to spice up her meals. We tried Native Pet chicken bone broth powder, and she's 100% in love with it. She has never been more excited to eat her meals! We love that it's made and sourced in the USA, and they use 100% organic ingredients! It also supports heart and joint health, which is a plus!
