Partially my fault, but I didn’t realize these were small size. It doesn’t say small in the product title or description and the photos make it look like it’s a normal size. Only after I received them did we realize they were the tiny ones. I gifted them to my mom’s small dog so it was fine. But would encourage chewy to add the size to the product title to help others not make the same mistake!

Native Pet makes my very favorite yak chews. I have used them for all of our medium/large dogs, so was thrilled when I found I could get this small size for my newest small breed puppy. Waffles, the puppy, now has bones sized just for her, and she no longer is running about stealing the bigger dogs cast off bones.

The first bag I ordered arrived all in little pieces it was all shattered and splintered, I had to Throw those away as they wouldn’t be safe for my dog but chewy

Might be too good

My dogs loved these. I’ve struggled to find chews small enough for my small dogs but hard enough that they don’t just devour them in seconds. These fit the bill,

My dogs loved these. I’ve struggled to find chews small enough for my small dogs but hard enough that they don’t just devour them in seconds. These fit the bill, until I got the bill from the tooth extraction for the cracked tooth. I can’t prove it was the yak chews, but they are the only hard chews I give to my dog. We have to stop using them. So use at your own risk. I have heard the suggestion to soak in water to soften them.

Product seems good-tasting to my dog but she was able to eat it so quickly beause the sticks of cheese came with micro-cracks on them. I gave one to my dog and as soon as she chomped down, the whole things broke into small peices. So much for a long-lasting treat. They need better packaging (or maybe it was just the 2 bags I got).
