Can the capsule be opened to mix contents with food?

If your pet will accept capsules, they are flavored with real turkey and can be given whole, but we suggest opening up and mixing the powder with wet food or home prepared meals and treats for greater taste acceptability. If a partial dose is required, you can dispense a portion of the powder and rejoin the capsule to use the remaining powder at a later time.

Can this be given long-term to cats or is it meant for short-term use?

This supplement contains a proprietary herbal blend which includes plants such as Valerian Root. The exact amount is proprietary to the manufacturer. These capsules are certified Kosher and Halal, and meet all requirements of European Pharmacopoeia (EP), and the United States Pharmacopoeia (USP).

It works, but getting my cat to swallow it and not spit it out is endlessly tricky. Thankfully its a small capsule. I tried to open capsule and just mix powder in

It works, but getting my cat to swallow it and not spit it out is endlessly tricky. Thankfully its a small capsule. I tried to open capsule and just mix powder in food or water, but pill didn't give in. Still worth the hassle as it works.

Smells very bad

Cat won’t go near his food. Not good for my boy. Pill has to be cut open with a scissor to get the powder out. Will not be using these.

Works ok for my cats

We had Godzilla Obama, he can rule the country or the planet, on their other calming formula previously. It made him more tired and sleepy, he already sleeps more

We had Godzilla Obama, he can rule the country or the planet, on their other calming formula previously. It made him more tired and sleepy, he already sleeps more then most cats. When we got Jimmy Dean, she makes the best biscuits, we waited to see if it would help her acclimate and help them get along. They would try to fight as often as possible and it would get rough with tuft's of Godzilla's hair left in the aftermath. After 3 months it wasn't much of a notable difference so we decided to try this formula. We're coming up on one month and we have noticed they are more tolerable of each other. They still get into tussles but this in combination with Feliway we noticed it's gotten better. I'm waiting to see how this goes after 60 and 90 days, but so far it's doing well. We mix it with their dinner, wet food, every night and they eat it up. I think it works better then the other formula but each home and cat is different.
