As soon as I received my order of the natural balance, ultra protein, pate for kids, I immediately opened the cans and gave some to my tabby cats! My cats loved the rich texture and the real chicken recipe with protein rich organs. What I really liked about the ultra protein pate was that my cats really enjoyed the flavor, and the taste of it! I feel confident and trust this brand because of the ingredients with the first one being chicken and then chicken broth.

Decent Pate, May be a Little Dry

Seems pretty dry for normal pate, but nothing a splash of water in the bowl doesn't fix. Maybe my cats are just picky, but they get one soft meal a day and it took

Seems pretty dry for normal pate, but nothing a splash of water in the bowl doesn't fix. Maybe my cats are just picky, but they get one soft meal a day and it took a bit for the cats to take to this. One still won't eat it, but the other has now taken to it as long as I wet it a bit more. Noticed no issues with bathroom use from either cat which is a huge plus! Flavor seems to be a favorite of the one cat!

This is a high-quality cat food formula with: - Proper animal-based protein sources - Essential taurine and nutrients - Gut-friendly additives like inulin and yucca - Balanced vitamins and minerals that are essential! I'm hopeful about this pate - The ingredient list is impressive—real chicken, nutrient-rich organs, and no unnecessary fillers. I love that it focuses on protein and IS formulated with a cat’s natural diet in mind. Unfortunately, two of my cats, who are on the pickier side, just wouldn’t touch it. I tried serving it multiple times and even mixing it with other favorites, but no luck. It might just be a texture or scent preference, since the formula itself seems great. I’d still recommend it to others because of the clean, quality ingredients and high protein content—it just didn’t work for my younger kitties. Of course every cat is different, so it may be worth a try if you're looking for something wholesome and meat-forward! 3/4 of my cats have no special dietary restrictions (food allergies or kidney issues), and I will continue feeding 2 that do enjoy it

I have a 3 yr old long hair tabby and a 1 yr old medium hair tabby. The first time I gave them some of this food they ate some of it. The pate is fairly dry compared

I have a 3 yr old long hair tabby and a 1 yr old medium hair tabby. The first time I gave them some of this food they ate some of it. The pate is fairly dry compared to others we have used. It did have a nice layer of gelled broth on top. My 3 yr old will eat some of it, just know she was starved as a kitten and will eat anything. My one yr old turns up his nose and walks away. I have even tried mixing it in with wet food he loves. The wet food they eat is not a high quality food like the Natural Balance. I think that has spoiled them. Similar to letting a child have sugared cereal rather than bran flakes, lol.

Grady is a long-haired, lovely boy who lives for food! He is a good eater and most foods please him. However, when I popped the top of this Ultra Protein Chicken Pate he totally freaked out and literally pushed me away from the can to get to it! Never seen him so excited to dig into any other food. He continues to love it and seems completely satisfied with a smaller portion compared to other foods. Happy about that because if he is full of good quality food and contented-so are we!
