He loves them and they're extremely nutricious, but...

The spines are extremely hard and pointed... I wouldn't feel safe feeding them as snacks without breaking the spines into small pieces first. I would prefer getting

Funny the description says "no odor". We have to seal the bag they come in, then put that in another ziplock bag, seal that, then they go in the treat jar. They don't smell rotten or anything, they just smell like what you would expect dried fish to smell like -FISHY! They do also come pretty crumbled up like others have said. Our dogs LIVE then though. I am trying another brand next time to see if I get whole fish and if the other brand is any less stinky.

I am hoping to find a good low carb high protein treat for my diabetic dog, so thought these seemed like a good option. It's hard to give treats when it's mostly scraps. Probably 70% of the bag is like this, if not more. Waste of money, sadly. I was hoping these would solve my problem.
