Incorrect Size
I purchased 4"-5" beef tendons but was sent long thick 9" tendons instead. In the past, the company has used the same packaging for many different products and it seems the problem has not been corrected.
My dog was still chewing after an Hour and half!!
I was looking for an alternative to hide chews. My dog would quickly devour everything I tried. I opened the package and gave my sheltie a strip so she would be occupied as I cleaned my floors. She was chewing for over 1 1/2 hours!!! She seemed to enjoy the chew treat :)
Huge Cuts - Different than Before
I purchased the 4 - 5" Beef Tendons by Nature Gnaws several times. The product was different with each order. Only one package I received contained the 4 - 5" cuts, all the other packages I ordered contained large 6 - 8" cuts. In my most recent order, I received huge flat slabs that look completely different than the previous beef tendons. These slabs are approximately 2-1/2" wide; too big for my tiny dog to chew and caused vomiting and diarrhea. I called the company and left a message about my dog's digestive upset but no one returned my call. I attached three photos with my review to show the product and its packaging. The small bag in my photos was the only bag that contained the 4 - 5" cuts. The larger bag held 6 - 8" cuts and is what I received all the additional times I ordered the product. Both the small bag and large bag have the same UPC Bar Code printed on the outside of the bag. Using the same UPC code for different products is not a good business practice.
Dogs loved them but I have concerns
Although my dogs loved these chews, I am worried about how easily they splintered. We found small, sharp shards all over after giving them these treats, including one that stabbed my husband in the foot! I will give them the larger, individually wrapped tendons from now on because those seem to shred into fibers rather than into splinters
My Fred loves these!
My Basset loves these beef tendon chews, and unlike most of his other treats, they keep him busy chewing for a while--he's not right back for another. He gets tired of some chews, but these seem to be a keeper for us.
They Love Them
I bought these as a healthy alternative to anything rawhide. Both of my dogs love them. They last about 5 minutes with my Samoyed and last much longer with my smaller Poodle puppy.

Extremely variable product quality. Was fantastic, last two orders have been mostly 2-3” pieces with one or two longer ones per bag.
Nature Gnaws beef tendon chews
Our vet recommended them for removing tarter on our dog's back teeth. Dogs love them. Hope we get a better dental review from her next year.

I have a mini doodle and these chews are the perfect size for him! The size was exactly as advertised. I love that they are one ingredient and rawhide free! This is our new go-to chew!
These are not 4-5"
These were 9-10", definitely not as advertised. I was specifically looking for smaller beef tendons, and this was not what I had in mind.
