I've been getting these for my dogs (17lbs & 27lbs) for a few months. The smallest have been around an inch, but not as thin as what older reviews complained of. They are a nice alternative to beef bully sticks for moderate chewers or smaller dogs - they take my dogs 5-10min to get through. They are a little greasy and have an odor which doesn't bother me, but is probably why my dogs will choose these over tendons, gullet, beef bully and any other chew I offer in the other hand.

So, I just received these bully sticks. I am very disappointed in these, partly my fault for not reading the description fully. If you look at these they look thick

So, I just received these bully sticks. I am very disappointed in these, partly my fault for not reading the description fully. If you look at these they look thick like the other braided ones they sell. I bought the 6 inch and 12 inch in these, and they were nice quality and not thin. The pictures they show for these are not what you get. I am a woman with thin hands, and these are literally the width of my pinky finger. My large dog can still eat them, but I was expecting them to be a little more substantial.

I have purchased this brand and item many times from different retailers. I have never been as disappointed as I was this time. These chews weren't much more than 1/4 inch wide. Very skinny. My dogs had them chewed up in a matter of minutes. In the past, they have been much wider and thicker. This bag certainly was not even worth the $30 sale price i paid. Not sure that I can trust to buy them again.
