Do these bully sticks use irradiation?

These treats are treated with irradiation. Once the chews are cleaned with water and baked in FDA-approved kitchens, they are sent to Midwest Laboratories where they provide Nature Gnaws state-of-the-art microbiological tests. These tests provide an extra level of protection, ensuring all products are free from salmonella, e-coli and other bacterial contamination. This additional step is not required in the industry but Nature Gnaws believes it’s a necessary step to keep their products safe and nutritious.

Great for super chewers

I have a lab and she is a super chewer. Most bones labeled for hard chewers, she can get through in 5 minutes flat. This one lasted at least a day and a half. Still

My puppy absolutely LOVES these and they last a really long time. I have only gotten a couple shipments so I am not sure about their quality control and if they are ALWAYS jumbo sized. I am hoping I never get a package like some have said they got where their bully sticks were not jumbo sized. I will edit review if I ever get a package like that, but for now -- I am in LOVE with this company and will for sure be a repeat customer.

I bought a package of these jumbo bully sticks and a package of the large - both 11 - 12 inches. Both bully sticks are the same width and length. There is no difference. You will get more bang for your buck purchasing the large. Hence, the 3-star rating. As for my pup, she absolutely loves them. I have purchased a variety of different brands of bully sticks and Nature Gnaws is by far the best brand.
