Dogs liked but gave them bloody diarrhea

I have very picky eaters so I was happy when my dogs ate this up. Unfortunately they both got terrible diarrhea and one had an explosive accident with a lot of blood. As soon as I switched their food back, everything went back to normal. My dogs switch brands of foods ALL of the time and never have issues, so unfortunately, I believe it has to be the food!

Tiny kibble size even works for toy breeds!

Kudos to Nature’s Logic for shining light on just how heavily the pet food industry relies on the use of synthetic vitamins and minerals. This natural philosophy is even harder to find in a processed kibble. My Yorkies have tried both the Nature’s Logic chicken and lamb dry recipes, and they enjoyed the taste of both. While some pet parents have warned that the wholesome ingredients can be a tad “rich” for sensitive tummies, my small Yorkie with IBS tolerated both formulas just fine after a slow and careful transition. Although Nature’s Logic doesn’t have a specific line for Small Breeds, their universal kibble size is surprisingly very small (1/4”) and was easily crunched by both 5lb mouths in my home. Please see my picture above for size reference—perhaps large dog owners might find the kibble too tiny. While my Yorkies don’t eat this brand exclusively, Nature’s Logic has definitely added some delicious variety and “natural” nutrition to our dry food rotation.

Natures logic chicken

The ingredients are great but none of my four dogs are excited about it (including my 50lb eats literally anything mutt) and theres always a little kibble left over in the bowl when they’re done. For the price I was expecting bowl licking good!

Healthy and Delicious

We have 7 dogs that are truly at all stages of life. They all love this dog food! None of them have any digestion issues and their coats look healthy and shinny. I would highly recommend this dog food to any doggy parents.

Highs and lows

When the bag got here I put it on the floor by the sealed container of did we still had to finish (abt 5#). After abt 10 minutes I heard a rustling since and I went into the kitchen. Daisy has turn a hike in the bag to get at this new food. I'm not sure what has changed but after a week she only eats it when it's mixed with her evening meal of chicken and rice.

Wanted to like it but...

When I got my dog from the shelter he had diarrhea from the get-go. It was stress induced for sure. When I switched to this food though, diarrhea would come and go but all of his stool was soft. It also made him have to go a lot. I'm talking four times a day. I kept giving it to him to see if it would improve with time but I can no longer deal with diarrhea. I just began the switch to a new food today.

6 months used=kidney damage

This food at first I thought was really good for my dog. She liked it a lot, she had good poops on it, whatever’s. But as time went on she started peeing ALOT. She used to pee once or twice on a 2 mile walk. With this food she started peeing up to 15 times per walk. I knew something was wrong. After thousands of dollars at the vet it was concluded this food was making her urine get crystals in it. She didn’t develop any bladder stones yet thank god but this food made her proteinurea go through the roof and crystals in her urine. This food has almost double and triple than that of normal phosphorus and calcium amounts in other dog foods. Not only that, her eyes started to completely turn blue like as if she was getting cataracts. I will attach a picture of her eyes when she was on this food. Since then I have put her on royal canin boxer specific formula and she’s back to peeing about 5 times a walk and the blueness in her eyes have almost completely reversed. Almost back to normal.

Lifetime Customer

I LOVE this brand so much, and so do my dogs. My rat terrier mix started being super picky and i tried so many brands of food, including frozen raw brands, and this is the only brand she consistently eats and actually gets excited for. My shiba inu mix loves it as well - she's the type that will eat almost anything, but it still says a lot when she whines at me the whole time i'm preparing her meal (i mix the dry and canned of this brand). Their fur is shiny, eyes bright, and their butt-logs are solid and healthy. No more butt-scooting/gland problems anymore either. I love the ingredients, actual food and not just isolated vitamins, and i love the price for the quality. For people on a budget and who don't have time to home-prepare their dogs' meals, it is arguably the best quality food. I love the variety of proteins. I am able to rotate proteins and keep their diet a bit diverse but still keep to the brand I, and my girls, love.

My dog likes it

My dog has only been on this for four days, and I've been mixing it with his old food for a slow transition but he's really eating it well so far.
