when I opened the bag the food was a totally different color then the bags I buy in the store and the dogs did not want to eat it. I dont know if the recipe is different or if something is wrong with the food. I will probably buy a bag from the store and throw the rest of this bag away. If the food is ok would definitley recommend it, not sure until I figure this out.

So I have two very very spoiled girls. The oldest is my ride or die as they say. Her name is Jaz , she is 9 years old, I got her at about 12 weeks. She is Black Lab and the sweetest most well behaved laid back puppy girl Anton could ever be so blessed to share life with….however Jaz is very picky when it comes to dry kibble. I have been buying wet food for a long time and I buy good stuff , I want her to be as healthy as possible so I’ve bought many different brands of dry food as well. She will not eat any of the dry stuff unless I essentially force her by mixing it with the wet , and she still pik out the dry kibbles and usually leave a pile of it on the floor beside her bowl. Lastnight I ran to our local grocery store because I knew I needed to buy food for my pups, I was looking through the bags of kibble and discovered this Nature’s Recipe, it’s a 14 lb bag for like $16 or something, so I started reading the label and it reads no grains, no corn, no artificial preservatives, no soy….. natural chicken, sweet potatoes, pumpkin for easy digestion. I thought “Wow Sweet Potatoes!!!” Jaz loves loves sweet potatoes. I bought the bag and mixed some in with her wet food, she didn’t pik any of the kibble out this time, this morning I decided I’d see how well it goes over by itself. I poured a little amount into my doodle’s bowl to see if she would like it and Jaz makes her way over and eats all of it. I couldn’t believe it, so I poured some into Jaz’s bowl and stood there watching her , she ate all of it without leaving a crumb. I was so happy!!! I’ve been looking n looking for a dry dog food that both my picky eaters like and I finally found one. Canned dog food gets to be so expensive and it’s kinda gross , but I will get it if that’s what they like, however I’d much prefer dry food for them atleast to help cut back on so much wet food. So glad I found a healthy food they like and that’s not overpriced so badly that it’s not affordable. Sometimes I even cook for my dogs , brown rice, chicken, sweet potatoes, green beans , eggs, apples, oatmeal , I mean I wouldn’t want to eat the exact same thing every day would you? If you’re a dog’s human, then express your love for them by making sure they eat healthy. Their love is unconditional, feed them the good stuff that is good for them. I give this food 5 stars !!!
