I have a mare that eats on her stablemates tail. This works great BUT it literally soaks into your skin, even with gloves. Bitter taste lasts for awhile.

Not sure yet, but funny story
By Sharona on Aug 28, 2020
When this arrived to my house, the bottle had leaked a little onto my big bag or cat food. I didn't think anything of it until I went to floss my teeth later that night. Oh my gosh, I couldn't feel my tongue for a little while and it was very hard to get rid of the terrible taste. I had gotten it on my lips too when I tried to wipe off my tongue. Bleeech!

Horrendous Product
By UESider on Aug 1, 2020
Bitter Yuck doesn't do anything to stop my puppy from chewing on furniture or floor moldings, but as I spray it it gets into the air and all over me. For the next hour at least if I eat anything or even lick my lips I can't get rid of the awful taste. It even goes in my throat. This is the worst dog product I've ever bought!!! I actually found what works - 100% lime juice! And as I pour the lime juice on a paper towel and rub the furniture legs and moldings, my puppy shakes and runs away from the smell.

My horse will eat anything...this included
By Peri on Oct 4, 2020
I had high hopes, but this is not really a deterrent for my young gelding. It was worth trying though!

Hopes went out the window!
By Aiden on Apr 2, 2020
I have an Aussie puppy who can chew almost anything in its path. I was excited to have found this product and figured since it's used to treat horses and also claims to stop dogs from chewing, I went all out on a 32 oz bottle with a positive feeling. As I received the product, I was excited to test it on my shoes and sandals which he loves to chew on. To my disapointment, after soaking the laces and spraying the shoe, this product did absolutely nothing to stop that.

By Carol on May 5, 2020
My dog doesn't like the taste. Won't bite furniture any more once sprayed. However, this diesn't prevent her from chewing shoes.
