Only stuff that works for my horses!
I have tried several brands that are supposed to discourage chewing by my horses, but this is the only one that works. Warning: it is awful stuff, and leaves me quite literally drooling after use. Is worth it because it controls the wood chewing!
My puppy must love the taste of the spray as it didn’t phase her. Meanwhile I suffered from overspray for hours.. save your money
I have a mare that eats on her stablemates tail. This works great BUT it literally soaks into your skin, even with gloves. Bitter taste lasts for awhile.
Saved my rugs!!
My Pom loves to chew the corners of my rugs, sprayed this on all four corners and he hasn’t touch them sense.
Not sure yet, but funny story
When this arrived to my house, the bottle had leaked a little onto my big bag or cat food. I didn't think anything of it until I went to floss my teeth later that night. Oh my gosh, I couldn't feel my tongue for a little while and it was very hard to get rid of the terrible taste. I had gotten it on my lips too when I tried to wipe off my tongue. Bleeech!
Bitter Yuck doesn't do anything to stop my puppy from chewing on furniture or floor moldings, but as I spray it it gets into the air and all over me. For the next hour at least if I eat anything or even lick my lips I can't get rid of the awful taste. It even goes in my throat. This is the worst dog product I've ever bought!!! I actually found what works - 100% lime juice! And as I pour the lime juice on a paper towel and rub the furniture legs and moldings, my puppy shakes and runs away from the smell.
My horse will eat anything...this included
I had high hopes, but this is not really a deterrent for my young gelding. It was worth trying though!
Hopes went out the window!
I have an Aussie puppy who can chew almost anything in its path. I was excited to have found this product and figured since it's used to treat horses and also claims to stop dogs from chewing, I went all out on a 32 oz bottle with a positive feeling. As I received the product, I was excited to test it on my shoes and sandals which he loves to chew on. To my disapointment, after soaking the laces and spraying the shoe, this product did absolutely nothing to stop that.
Not bitter enuf
Didn't discourage my guy at all... Apparently not Bitter enough!
Works for my dog on furniture
My dog doesn't like the taste. Won't bite furniture any more once sprayed. However, this diesn't prevent her from chewing shoes.
