The Level 1 Glucosamine DS is recommended for young dogs and cats as a preventative measure to help maintain normal healthy cartilage and joint function prior to visible signs of joint care needs. The Level 2 is recommended for adult dogs and cats over the age of 12 weeks, including large breeds and overweight pets.
What does level 2 mean

How does this differ from NaturVet Glucosamine DS Plus Level 2 Soft Chews for Dogs besides not being a soft chew?

The NaturVet Glucosamine DS Plus MSM & Chondroitin Dog & Cat Soft Chews and NaturVet Moderate Care Glucosamine DS Level 2 Max Formula Dog Tablets are difference in product types (one being a soft chew and the other being a tablet) and inactive ingredients.
Is it safe to give with Denamarin.

Love this!

This product has helped both of my 1 year old French Bulldogs. They would run and play and sometimes hurt their leg. They were limping. After being on this for 1 month, they are both better!

Finding The Fountain Of Youth

Our 6 year old boxer had started to show problems with her rear joints from many adventures running in fields during our daily walks. A family friend recommended NaturVet to bring relief to her tired joints. After two weeks, we have noticed marked improvement in her ability to resume running and playing with other dogs without any problems from her joints. Like she had re-discovered her Fountain of Youth.

Glucosamine DS Plus

I’ve been giving this product to my 13 y o Golden for years. She seems to be doing well on it. I like that I can get it from Chewy in a bigger bottle so I don’t have to buy it as often. It also works out to be slightly cheaper than where I usually get it!

Good Formulation, Poor Tablets

These tablets have all the right ingredients for dog arthritis, most importantly Glucosamine, Chrondroitin, and MSM. If just rating the ingredients, I give it 5 stars. The tablets, however, I give a 1 star. They are just way too crumbly. I always get the 240 tab size since it's the most economical. Every bottle I've purchased so far has had a bunch (at least 10% of the bottle) all broken up on the bottom, with all different size chunks and some totally pulverized. My most recent bottle even has broken ones on the top. Who know how many will be that way on the bottom of the bottle when we get there. I suspect more than usual. The manufacturer should spend some time to figure out how to resolve the issue. I don't have this problem with any tablet supplements I take, or with the other type of tablets my dog takes (Carprofen).

keeps my senior dogs moving

I have 3 senior dogs, so I’m very thankful that this supplement comes in a larger bottle. After about a month of continuous use I’ve noticed my dogs don’t seem to struggle jumping in and out of the car, and play doesn’t leave my old boy as spent at the end of the day. Will buy again.

Every time I order this it's different

Every time I order this it's in different packaging and has a different formulation. Last time it was in a squat white plastic jar and consisted of dark brown chewies that according to her weight, she needed 3 of daily. This time it's in the packaging pictured and consisted of large white crumbly tablets that according to her weight, she needs 1 1/2 of daily. She doesn't like the tablets.

Very good price

I've been buying the exact dog tablets over the counter and I save a TON of money buying through Chewy. I have a large dog that's 12 years old. I can't really tell, if they help, but I don't want to stop giving them to him in case they do. I tried 3 other products, which he developed an itchy rash. These tablets don't irritate his skin and he takes them as a treat.

Works great!

I give this to my older golden doodle. She was struggling to squat and go potty but now she is like a puppy again. She is back to her young self. Happy and playful again.
