My 4 yr old GS has one hip that's square now due to degenerative arthritis. She was in so much pain when when walking let along could not jump on bed or couch any more. The vet recommend this with the Welactin omega 3 and CBD's. Just this on it's own has her running, jumping, and playing again that we have to keep her slowed down a little. We know that the dysplasia will get worse over time but this stuff is a miracle to see the transformation. We have to use a syringe as she won't take it voluntarily. I tried a drop and it is nasty but she wakes me up to get her stuff every morning.
Works as it is described and I would order it again. Chewey has good stuff for all animals I use chewey all the time.
My 17 year old cat has arthritis in her hips and shoulders and I was very much hoping this would work for her but she hates the taste so much I can’t get her to take it to find out. She won’t eat her food if I mix anything that isn’t flavorless in it, she quit eating the chews so that left me to try liquid. She wouldn’t willingly eat this so I tried a syringe. She hated that more than pills. This may work but I’ll never know if she won’t take it
I have a cat that had to get her leg amputated at a young age. The vet suggested something like this for her. I have been giving this to her for about 4 years now. Love that it is a liquid form. I use a syringe type medication applicator. It makes it so easy. She knows the routine. Right before I give her the morning wet can food, I suck the right amount out from the bottle, gently grab her head, squirt it into the side of her mouth. As for the taste, she knows her can food will be laid down for her to eat right after. So she tastes it for a very short time. She has gotten so use to the morning routine. Her & I both. It takes an additional 30 seconds to do.
This product saved my big guy from certain pain and deterioration. He stopped taking the Cosequin beef flavored chews because he simply doesn’t like the flavor and texture after so many years. I was looking for a quality liquid alternative and found a winner which is appropriate for his aging and slowing body. I simply add the dose to his food and noticed he wasn’t limping so much after a few days. We have a winner!
Purchased the product and have been using it for a week, to early to see a difference.
My cockapoo is fussy wont eat much...treats...even humans foods! Tried treat formula didn’t work...the liquid I pour over her food and she eats it. Only negatives are measuring It every day.
We have used this product in the past with another elder dog. After a few weeks on it, I could see she was moving better and enjoying life more. I have started my purchase of this again, as I now have dogs that are over 7.
Dog got fat and lazy (not really, but that's what I tell him) and injured his cruciate ligament. I put him on a fat dog diet and started a regimen of 10 ml of Glucosamine DS Plus. Three months in and he has lost 10% of his body weight with another 10% to go and is spry, active, and shows little sign of the leg injury. I owe it to the combination of correcting his diet and providing needed supplementation for joint issues.
This bottle lasts a LONG time for my two cats. They have no pickiness with the flavor, and it blends with their food well.
