is it okay to give these to a kitten? (10 weeks)

Answer by ChewyMar 15, 2022
Both supplements are suitable for cats over the age of 12 weeks.

My cat swats at our faces and chews on our hair while we are trying to sleep. Will these help keep her more calm at night, allowing us to sleep?

Answer by ChewyJan 25, 2022
The calming chews help maintain normal nervous system function during times of stress and tension. In this situation, their behavior may not be caused due to any anxiety so the supplement wouldn't be helpful. Night time is the most natural time for cats to be active since they normally are most active in exploration at dusk and dawn (this is known as crepuscular behaviour).

Took some time-

These are quite excellent. I’d suggest adding just a little to your cat’s food each meal. Now my cats will walk me to the cabinet they’re kept if I forget to add

These are quite excellent. I’d suggest adding just a little to your cat’s food each meal. Now my cats will walk me to the cabinet they’re kept if I forget to add them to their food. :) They helped establish a consistent routine. Haven’t noticed any funky side effects. I usually crush one in each bowl since they swap bowls fairly often. We got the dog version for our Anatolian Shepherd and they are super effective! Give the product time to do its job and give your cat time to adjust to the taste.

Try mixing with food

I was searching for a new probiotic for my elderly cat - he is 10 years old. I also give this to my 6 and my year old cats. My cats get half wet food/ half freeze

I was searching for a new probiotic for my elderly cat - he is 10 years old. I also give this to my 6 and my year old cats. My cats get half wet food/ half freeze dried. I crush up one for each cat daily and mix with their food. None of the food goes uneaten! The melatonin definitely helps them sleep through the night. No more late night digging through the trash, nor cat fights. I’m not sure how the probiotic has helped, as my elderly is still chewing the fur on his paws.

Ms. Cat Rescue mom

Don't waste your money on this for calming. I have 9 cats, and none will lick them, much less eat them

Review of Treats that I purchased

None of my cats will go near these. They sniffed them once and won't sniff or try them at all.

My cat is very active at night so I bought these to see if it’ll help with calming her down and it worked really well. But after that she figured out what the treats do and now she won’t eat them. She’s too smart. So I gave a 5 cause it did it’s job that one time.

We got this for our cat Emma, hoping it would calm her down. If didn't. She is still very vocal
