Bad design

I was looking for a large water dish for our pack of dogs and thought this one would be perfect. But it certainly is not. The front edge of the bowl is lower than the back edge, so when you fill it up you can't fill it up as far as you think you can. And you have to hold it very level or you will spill water everywhere, again because the front side is lower than the back side. It is very awkward to carry, it's like a balancing act.

Cat's Water Dish

I bought this to try for my cats. I have an automatic waterer but no matter what I do they manage to knock it over somehow, even sit on it. I have built something to cover it but they still somehow manage to knock it over. This has been such a blessing...they drink out of it and don't knock it over...no more messes...thank goodness

Great Bowl!

We use this bowl with our PetSafe Healthy Pet Simply Feed Automatic Cat Feeder. The height of the dish has helped our senior lady tremendously and the large surface area means both cats can eat simultaneously when the feeder dispenses.

Size Comparison

I originally purchased the smaller size because 1.25gal/20cups seemed like enough. But I ended up ordering the larger version (2.25gal/36 cups) after using the small for a week (we have 3 boxers). They are a bit shallow, so you can’t fill them super full if you’re carrying from the sink, instead of filling in place. I like the amount of water it holds, the shape is nice so that it sits against the wall, and I think the dogs appreciate that it’s slightly elevated. I would purchase again.

Great feeder for multiple cats

If you have a lot of cats who all like to eat together this feeder is perfect. It holds a ton of food, the crumbs actually stay in the bowl, and everyone can eat together without pushing and shoving.
