How do you loosen collar to make it fit

This is a beautiful color and I absolutely love the material. Unfortunately I had to give it 2 stars because after a little over a week of wear the bell broke in half. One half of the bell is still attached to the color, but I have no idea where the other half is. I can only hope my cat didn't eat the little ball inside

cats find the collar itchy and the bell disturbing

to preface, i love necoichi's product line and have bought several of their other collars before, but this particular design is a miss for my cats. upon putting

to preface, i love necoichi's product line and have bought several of their other collars before, but this particular design is a miss for my cats. upon putting them on, they immediately started scratching at it and shaking their head, as if the bell hurt their ears. i noticed that it is a different type of bell than the other collars they sell and has a higher pitched ringing sound. even after removing the bell, they scratch at their neck excessively. since i have tried their other collars before and they did not elicit the same reaction, i believe this model of collar is not suitable to use for cats.

I use this collar for my small service dog and her tag. It is light, looks nice, and is able to be worn loosely.(She came to me with collar area alopecia so I dont put a heavier collar on her because it might be a terrible association with previous neglect for her). Such a pretty and dainty collar. I originally bought it because it seemed like it would be softer and more comfortable for my kitten. Whilst that rings true, it is a super flimsy collar and it would easily loosen and fall off of her. Eventually when she was playing with our other cat, the collar came off and one of them chewed on the plastic bit and broke it. Didn’t last longer than a few months.
