Cannot use spring rods

I was hoping to support the twist in her leg, but the spring rod pockets are on the inside. Next to the boney leg. Try some on your ankle and I bet you will put

Considerable improvement

I used the spring supports and over 2 weeks it has helped my dog considerably. Her leg had gone lame prior and hock is very swollen. Vet said joint capsule had ruptured

I used the spring supports and over 2 weeks it has helped my dog considerably. Her leg had gone lame prior and hock is very swollen. Vet said joint capsule had ruptured and recommended this brace in particular. Her gait has improved. One strap did start wearing a sore spot so I leave it unstrapped. I suspect it is bc hock is so large and strap rode right under. It's worked well though the past 2, almost 3 weeks.

Don't know if it did more harm than good

My vet recommended these for my older hound dog who was having difficulty putting pressure on his leg. He wound up losing muscle mass, and his legs would swell at

My vet recommended these for my older hound dog who was having difficulty putting pressure on his leg. He wound up losing muscle mass, and his legs would swell at the end of the day (even when ensuring it wasn't on tight). After trying this for a while, we decided against it, as we felt it was causing him more harm than good. It might have been for his specific condition (which we still don't know what was causing the pain in his leg) but I didn't want to add to it.

Helped my dog support his sprained leg

After 3 days he had recovered sufficiently to walk without support. But it rubbed a raw spot above his knee. Next time I would put a bandage under the brace to prevent

Ordered Extra large and still small and yet clumsy

These are very cumbersome once attached to my friend he could not stand up with them on? Then if the stiff bar wasn't in they were no help at all. I give up. Going
