NeoAlly’s Back Hock Metal Spring Support Dog Braces are designed to provide your canine companion with back hock support. They are designed with metal springs for extra powerful support that can also be easily removed depending on the condition of your canine companion. Even if your dog only has an issue with one leg, often the other leg could be at risk for getting hurt due to the imbalance caused by the injured leg—that’s why every purchase comes with two braces! They are made from a breathable, flexible and supportive neoprene material, so your pup doesn’t have to suffer from rubbing or pinching.

First one I ordered was too big, but that was my fault, so I reordered. Once I had the correct size my dog refused to walk while wearing them. I tried several times over several days and once they were on, he just sat and refused to walk. I even removed the support rods and tried again, but they were still a no go.
Three days into using them, one of the springs punctured the material and is sticking out. I’m assuming not working properly now. I’d expect something of such importance as a leg brace to work better. Our dog, Domino, has a bad leg/hock due to arthritis and needs help to stop dragging his paw. Replacement? Another brand??
Work well. Just be careful not to wrap too tight and don't leave on overnight. Need to monitor leg condition for possible swelling.
These are NOT made for Giant Breeds like the description says. They are only about 5 inches long and we had to add more velcro at home to even wrap around our 215 pound Old English Mastiff's leg. Also, the opening for the hock should be bigger for a Giant Breed. Picture is not true to the product. The braces in the picture are probable about 8 plus inches long. Very disappointing because my Big Girl needs good hock braces. Otherwise semi decent delivery time and cost. I guess manufacturers really don't know how big a Giant Breed dog is.
These braces seem very comfortable for my Rottie. Had surgery on one leg and arthritis in other. In 3 weeks I can see improvement. She has elasticity in her gait and is not stiff day after. Thank you for a very well made brace. Would buy again
Our Golden has arthritis and the braces have really helped her mobility. The metal springs slide out easily.
Brace works well at first but the metallic studs poke through the stitching. We’ve bought two sets and two of the four have had the same problem. Also, the Velcro retaining straps do not wrap completely around so, as the Velcro wears a little, it loses its grip and the braces fall off.
My 13-year-old dog is suffered for arthritic and on meds to manage pain. This metal spring braces help her move around more easily. Points I want to mention is that one of her hocks has degenerated to the point it is deformed, so this brace seems not fit tightly on that leg, but thankfully it still helps.
Very good Braces unfortunately my little girls legs are too small for even the small size. But I do recommend the braces for being sturdy and they didn't bother her till they slipped down.
My little guy is 12 yrs old. He has arthritis and recently got worse and had trouble walking, losing balance with his rear legs slipping out from under him. My Vets has recommended these hock braces with metal inserts. The package arrived quick, I followed the instructions and put the braces on him easily. It is AMAZING! He can walk, go up and down the steps, go outside to the potty. The pockets hold the metal springs well without popping out. The opening is on the upper side of the pocket, I had to bend the metal spring in order to take it out. I do not see the problem that some other users experienced. It is well made and gives good support. I recommend for anyone to give it a try.
