Can this brace be used for a torn CCL?

Answer by ChewyFeb 19, 2020
NeoAlly dog rear leg hock braces with metal spring strips are semi-rigid braces for dogs who suffer from limb or injury due to arthritis or aged dogs. The braces also help dogs with torn ACL or CCL, sprains or stains of the canine knee, post-operative support and stabilization of dog rear legs.

How do you measure for this

Answer by ChewyMar 30, 2020
For the most accurate fit, you must measure your dog's leg circumference 1 inch above the hock center. If your pet's measurements are between sizes, choose the smaller size. For the measurments of each size, click the “Size” tab, next to the “Description” tab, just under the product photos.

Can these braces be used on a cat?

Answer by ChewyJun 20, 2022
This brace is suitable for both dogs and cats.

Will these provide any support or stability for a large dog with Degenerative Myelopathy?

Didn’t work. Bailey’s legs were too short and the top of the legs too wide. Not a good fit. Might work on another dog???

First one I ordered was too big, but that was my fault, so I reordered. Once I had the correct size my dog refused to walk while wearing them. I tried several times over several days and once they were on, he just sat and refused to walk. I even removed the support rods and tried again, but they were still a no go.

Function is good, quality poor

Three days into using them, one of the springs punctured the material and is sticking out. I’m assuming not working properly now. I’d expect something of such importance

Three days into using them, one of the springs punctured the material and is sticking out. I’m assuming not working properly now. I’d expect something of such importance as a leg brace to work better. Our dog, Domino, has a bad leg/hock due to arthritis and needs help to stop dragging his paw. Replacement? Another brand??

Ankle support

Work well. Just be careful not to wrap too tight and don't leave on overnight. Need to monitor leg condition for possible swelling.
