Do you think this would work for a cat?

Answer by ChewyOct 07, 2025
This mobility aid is not recommended for cats, as the sizing, strap placement, and weight distribution are not optimized for a cat’s body shape or mobility needs.

Can the dog go to the bathroom with this?

Answer by ChewyFeb 02, 2023
As long as the harness is properly fitted, there should be no need for adjusting or unclipping prior to potty or urinating.

Does this have a weight limit

Answer by ChewyApr 12, 2023
When choosing the size of the harness, it is based on the combination of back length, chest girth, and neck girth. It is not based on weight. However, Neo Sports Lab has received a customer review showing that the D-ring may break if the pet is more than 85 pounds.

Can the dog wear this while sleeping

Answer by ChewyJan 22, 2023
This item works best while the dog is in motion. The dog can wear it while sleeping however, it depends on whether the dog is comfortable wearing it while sleeping.

Really nice setup

Well made and durable. A good fit which wrapped my dog. Balanced well enough not to stress my dog.

It helps with mobility.

As a small woman, it is somewhat difficult for me to get this on Sammy, who is a miniature schnauzer. Also. I think it is too cumbersome for him to wear it all

As a small woman, it is somewhat difficult for me to get this on Sammy, who is a miniature schnauzer. Also. I think it is too cumbersome for him to wear it all the time. So, it must be pit on a couple of times per day. However, it is safe and stable for getting him down stairs.

Not worth the money

Clip for shoulder strap broke the 2nd time I used it, ripped away and would have to reset with new fabric. Not worth the money by any means

Sturdy and easy

This mobility harness is easy to figure out and super sturdy. Our old girl took a bit of time to get used to it but now she's comfortable and I can carry her downstairs

My dog is a Beagle and is nearly 11 years old. We are moving from a one story house to a second floor apartment. I bought this in hopes that if I need to assist him up and down the stairs as he gets older that this will help me do that. I'm also hoping it will be a while before I need to use it, but it will be here when and if I do..

What a piece of junk!

I bought a large for my 43lb dog, which should hold her weight. It doesn’t. The Velcro doesn’t hold. It’s dropped her twice. I’m throwing this junk in the garbage

so disappointed

This looked like a perfect solution to help us help my 12yo, 70-pound hound mix get up and down the stairs in our temporary home. I ordered, and received, the Large size. After loosening all the straps and laying it flat on the floor, I got my hound into it--(the whole Velcro secured back makes a horrible noise when it opens, btw). Then, I snugged its straps and attached the handle to the rings (these rings have to be nudged through the wrapped layer, btw, to secure the handle to them). This coaxing, snugging, and securing takes time and lots of patience. Finally, my hound was secure (I swear she rolled her eyes at me), and we started down the stairs. As I held the handle to support my hound, the "secured" front straps released themselves from their snugness on our first steps. The body tube slid out of a helpful position and started to hinder my hound's hind legs. I let go of the handle and let my hound navigate the last five steps on her own. (Thank goodness she's just arthritic and still strong.) So not thrilled.
