Would these be helpful with acl issues?

Answer by ChewyAug 18, 2020
NeoAlly dog rear leg braces with metal spring strips are semi-rigid braces for dogs who suffer from limb or injury due to arthritis or aged dogs. The braces also help dogs with torn ACL or CCL, sprains or stains of the canine knee, post-operative support and stabilization of dog rear legs.

Do you know how to measure for this product I have a boxer 85 pounds Thank you Isabella

Answer by ChewySep 10, 2020
To determine the best fit for your dog, it is recommended to measure the circumference of your dog's leg 2-inches above the hock joint, and 2-inches below the hock joint. For the complete sizing chart, click the “Size” tab, next to the “Instructions” tab, just under the product photos. You can also refer to the complete sizing chart below:

Bones is 12 she's my mixed bloodhound and has cancer and she dislocated her left back knee. I'm hoping this will help her stay more comfortable and somewhat mobile in her last however much months or hopefully a couple of years I might have her. She's my rock as I have had complete reconstructive back surgery and we're each other's companions and cheerer uppers.

I have a senior dog who used to work in the Military, which means his joints and cartilage had seen better days. While damage like that is irreversible, these braces help limit overextension or overworking already inflamed and tired legs. I did mistakenly put it on backwards the first few times, but knowing its on correctly allows our pup to go on walks with the rest of the pack. Even if its a shorter distance than usual.

Great product for leg support

I bought these for my great dane who was having leg troubles. Come to find out she has cancer in one of her legs and needs a little extra leg support to maintain

I bought these for my great dane who was having leg troubles. Come to find out she has cancer in one of her legs and needs a little extra leg support to maintain quality of life. Unfortunately surgery is not a option. The vet loved when she arrived at the office with these on. The velcro is like the super glue of glue. No worries of it coming apart while they are on. I take them off while she is sleeping or relaxing with us. I did cut the toes off a tin ankle sock for her to wear under the brace. Her leg is swollen so I worry the velcro will hurt her skin. I was orginally debating if I should get them because of the review ratings but then I noticed it seemed allot of them were for lack of knee support that is not what I was looking for and when I looked at the picture I could see it would do the trick for what I needed it for.
