A little misleading

So I love feeding my doxies raw freeze dried foods. It is so much healthier than kibble with lots of fillers. The ingredients are super. However its a little misleading

So I love feeding my doxies raw freeze dried foods. It is so much healthier than kibble with lots of fillers. The ingredients are super. However its a little misleading when I looked at the protein to fat content of the beef. I originally bought the wild goat and that actually has a higher protein to fat ratio. I thought I was buying a 60 to 30 percent protein to ratio with the beef but it turned out the beef is fattier than the goat. Overall great ingredients im just a bit concerned with the protein to fat ratio.

EYOND overjoyed to have found NZ Naturals WOOF. AMAZING QUALITY & INGREDIENTS our dog LOVES- she finishes and licks her bowl every meal, which is a HUGE feat! It has been the most painful journey to find something for our dog, who is not food motivated and has an extremely sensitive stomach, would eat. I tried so many brands of natural frozen, fresh, D2C, canned, air dried, freeze dried foods in our search- either she wouldn’t eat it, would like it for a few days, or else would have terrible diarrhea or skin allergies- it was an exhaustive journey. We had countless trips to the vet to try to get to the bottom of what was wrong. I was so happy when I found a Ziwi mix she liked; except they discontinued the line shortly after being acquired and at one point I resorted to shipping her food from Australia (where it had not been discontinued). I panicked recently when I was informed they had finally discontinued the line globally. We went through another painful round of food testing with several brands where she wouldn’t eat and lost weight, and the next option gave her skin rash (due to allergy) that she even had to go on medication for. A holistic pet store recommended I look for another NZ food co option as they said protein from that area is not mixed with hormones and use high quality ingredients. I’m so glad we did. Our girl literally looks forward to every meal- she rushes over to her bowl and is the healthiest she’s ever been. She loves both the freeze dried air dried options and it makes me to happy to know she’s eating the best quality ingredients- I want her to live the longest happiest healthiest life she can. Thank you thank you!! You have a lifelong customer!!!
