Dogs enjoy it, a good canned food option

Both of our dogs gave a thumbs up for both taste and smell. As soon as I popped the can lid they got very excited. We started with a slow transition and mixed it with their kibble as we don’t like to give them 100% soft food and didn’t want to upset their digestion. They really enjoy it and have no issues with digesting it. I do wish they had a beef version without chicken as we know one of our pups has a turkey allergy so we try to avoid chicken as well just in case. This recipe has both chicken and chicken broth and beef is the 5th ingredient in the list. It’s a blended pate consistency with the peas clearly whole. I could not see any other ingredient stand out.
Daisy gives her paw of approval!
So I was going to use this as a topper to my dogs kibble, but she LOVED it so much I'll have to have it as a main meal also! Love the pull top. Makes it easier
So I was going to use this as a topper to my dogs kibble, but she LOVED it so much I'll have to have it as a main meal also! Love the pull top. Makes it easier to open. The texture was moist and smooth. Most canned dog foods are thick and hard to scoop out. And it smelled good...even to me! I had to tell my girl "sit" three times when scooping it into her bowl she wanted it so bad! My cat even came out and tried to steal some out of my Daisy's bowl! Lol. Daisy gobbled it down and looked at me for more, so pretty sure it tastes great!

Let me start off with this; I have a senior German Shepherd and if you have a GSD, you already know that they can be picky and finicky eaters. As they get older, their stomachs tend to become more ‘sensitive’ to food and treats. About 6 months ago, we started him on a liquid glucosamine supplement that gets mixed in with his food. The supplement is supposed to be flavorless but he knows ‘something is up’. He tries to pick each individual piece of food out to avoid the glucosamine supplement. I didn’t want to STOP giving him the glucosamine supplement but I also didn’t want him to NOT eat his food so when I had the opportunity to try this NEXT LEVEL wet dog food topped; the first think I did was look at the main ingredients. It has to have poultry/beef/pork as the primary ingredients as I don’t want him to have any processed or unhealthy food that could further agitate his stomach. This NEXT LEVEL product checked all those boxes. When the product arrived, I got his food bowl out and he saw me grab one of the cans and he was HIGHLY interested. I cracked open the lid and let him smell and he immediately starting giving me his paw and spinning in circles which tells me that he thinks he’s getting a treat. (lol) I started with 1/2 the can and mixed it in with his dry kibble and I could barely put his bowl down before he started going to town. He ate every piece of his food in about 60 seconds. I gave him the other 1/2 of the can by itself and he INHALED it. Bottom line, if you have a picky eater dog or a dog that ‘grazes’ their food, you HAVE to try this. He absolutely loved it and now, when I grab his food bowl off the ground, he already knows ‘something is up’ and follows me to the closet because he knows that’s where I keep the NEXT LEVEL cans. The ingredients are great and he absolutely loves it. You gotta try it!
Our Lab loves it!
Siri loves it! She usually gets dry food but somehow, she figured out that the cans were hers and she stands next to us, wagging her tail as we put it in her dish
Siri loves it! She usually gets dry food but somehow, she figured out that the cans were hers and she stands next to us, wagging her tail as we put it in her dish. According to the directions, she should have 4 to 5 cans per day. That isn't affordable in the least. So she gets her dry food in the morning and only one can in the evening. One definite thing we noticed--when we travel, we sometimes feed her Purina One canned food, but we pay the price because she gets gassy. This Next Level food does not have that same effect. I think this will be our food of choice next time we travel.
Not bad for canned food
So I don’t normally feed my working dogs canned food but I love the natural ingredients and the fact that were real chunk of food in each can. Both my GS & Mali
So I don’t normally feed my working dogs canned food but I love the natural ingredients and the fact that were real chunk of food in each can. Both my GS & Mali loved this food and worked well with their diets. The smell wasn’t horrible and the texture was about average. I do love that they put right on the can how much you should feed your dogs which in my case was one can for each dog. But again my dogs are working dogs so they need all the nutrients they can get.
Great for smaller and medium dogs.

Tried product for both Great Danes they really did not like it. Left in the bowl. Tried on small bulldog mix and she loved it. The chihuahua and he liked it very much. The large breeds are on a raw diet so this food is foreign to the. Smaller dogs are on kibble and canned food. The chihuahua loved it easy to chew. Would not recommend for large dogs but great for the medium and small dogs.
Good for big eaters
I have a gang of assorted breeds, ages and sizes. My large dogs enjoyed the food and ate it happily. The teenies who are very picky did not care for it as much

Biscuit loves the Next Level canned dog food, chicken and beef flavored. I've been putting a little bit on her dry food every time I feed her. Usually I put a couple of bites of people food on her dry food and usually she gets tired of it after a couple of days. She hasn't gotten tired of the Next Level canned food!

My 3 dogs, 7yo Brittany, 3yo Boxer, and 10 mo Boxer, all had their noses in the air sniffing with anticipation as soon as I opened the can. I mixed it in with their dry food, and they could hardly sit and wait for the bowls to be put down. It was a good texture, and it didn’t cause any GI issues afterwards. 3 paws up!
Good treat but would prefer not be grain free
