Does it have a stop button to prevent the leash from extending?

This product does not have a stopper but also only extends 45”. So it doesn’t extend too far.

Great concept except it doesn’t retract

Second time using this leash my pup bolted for a squirrel & it went all the way out and that was the end of the leash. It wouldn’t retract. The cord is good material

Second time using this leash my pup bolted for a squirrel & it went all the way out and that was the end of the leash. It wouldn’t retract. The cord is good material & has a heavy duty hook, but the mechanism doesn’t work. There’s no way to “lock” or hold the tether to keep your pup from pulling the cord all the way out so a flawed design.

Doesn’t work

Doesnt go out more than 3 feet and there is no way to control how far it goes out if it did go out. Piece of junk.

Nice to have for brief leashing needs

Good for walking out to the car or short walks to places where my dogs can be off leash. Less cumbersome and tangle-prone than standard leashes.
