Very frustrated!
By Dogma on Mar 18, 2021
Ordered two of these for the purpose of putting them on my dogs collars when they go out in the dark. The clip is very hard to pinch so once it was on the collar I had to leave it. It got in the way of indoor doggy life so collars had to be taken off . The button has a on/off switch, this broke (twice...on 2 separate buttons) and the button stayed on until the battery drained. Chewy was great and sent me a replacement but it happened again. It worked for about a week! Won't be buying this product again !

Don't bother with Nite Ize Collar Lights
By CHIWHI on Mar 21, 2021
I'd give this collar light ZERO STARS if it were possible. I tried this particular collar light in late 2011 & was disappointed. It was replaced with Ruff Wear collar light in early 2012 that was going strong - until I lost it on New Year's Day 2021. I gave the Nite Ize collar light another try & was even more disappointed this time around. It was used an average of 10 minutes per night in Florida's temperate winter weather & quit working in under a month. After reading other reviews, I don't think I'm going to bother buying new batteries.

First time buyers
By Josie on Mar 26, 2021
You guys are great. We accidentally got a cat worming shipped to us in error - BUT, it was handled so well with prompt correspondence and prompt reshipping that I'm sure we'll order again. We've had these dog collar lights in the past, and they're the best of all we've used. Great for traveling or for locating our rodent hunter, Josie, in the dark on our farm. Her bobbing light makes finding our "Tinkerbell" easy!

Great for night time play
By Blane on Mar 20, 2021
The Nite Ize collar light works great to keep track of your pet during night play or potty sessions. It is light weight and small enough to leave on the collar at all times. The battery lasts a long time. We have had this for nearly a year and have not replaced the battery yet. We like the collar light so much that we have given some as gifts to dog parent friends.

Brilliant Little Light
By HappyShopper on Apr 7, 2021
This little light may not seem like much but this thing saved my pup tonight. If it weren’t for this this thing shining bright, it’s very likely that my boy wouldn’t be home today. He was scared and hidden under a house and we saw this light shining. Thank you so much!

Lasted a month and a half
By Bryy on Feb 26, 2021
I loved this light when I first got it. It was pretty bright and I was able to see where my dog was out in the yard from the window instead of going out with her. I had this light for about a month and a half and the light has already stopped working. It went from working, to dull the next night and when my dog came back in, it was off. It flickered when I tried turning it back on, but there was no hope. I would maybe use this light for 5-10 minutes a night.

Hard to click
By Shelby on Mar 17, 2021
I got this because my puppy is mostly black, and the lighting around my apartment is limited, so if we wanted to let her off leash a bit, we could find her more easily. This is great except for the clicking on and off. You have to click it just right or really hard to get it.

Burns out and new batteries don’t work
By SBJ2 on Feb 20, 2021
Waste of money. The light lasted for one month of bedtime walks. When it burned out, I bought 2 new brand name batteries. After inserting the batteries, the light will turn on only if I hold it down—and never let go. Opening the light appears to have broken it. Cheap and now garbage.

Light works great but clasp is cheap
By Coral on Mar 15, 2021
I had the light for less than a week when the clasp completely fell apart. My dog isn’t even that active and didn’t wear it 24/7. The light is really cool and works great. But could easily be lost due to the faulty clasp.

Lights Out!
By Jahzy on Jan 6, 2021
We have a black lab mix, so it's very hard to see her at night in the yard. We bought the SpotLit for her and put it on her collar. Unfortunately, it turns itself off about 25% of the time. I put a new battery in, thinking that it might be a problem with that, but it did not fix the situation. The switch is just faulty and it turns itself off if she lands hard (e.g., comes down the steps fast).
