I should have paid more attention to the measurements because it is smaller than I expected. It’s also very soft side and not structured so when carrying around it does constrict the interior space a little. That said, my medium sized cat absolutely loves it. We have had some emergency vet visits all at once and I never had a real carrier for her before now, I just used a small wire crate because I’m usually taking my cats to the vet together. However, it leaves them feeling exposed and nervous, they usually don’t want to go in to the crate in the first place. Not only did she willingly and easily go into the carrier, but even with it unzipped in the car, she is choosing to stay in it because she likes it so much. It was also easier to carry her out to the car very happy with this purchase, mostly because she feels so safe and comfortable in the carrier. I also appreciate the varieties of straps and handles for different carrying styles, but more so than anything, the ability to easily buckle it into a car for safety.
