can you spray this in a cockatiels eye?

Nixall Poultry and Avian Care will help with skin and feather care. While it is safe for use around eyes, it should not be sprayed direclty into the eye. We recommend the Nixall Eye & Ear Wash instead. It gently washes away dirt and debris, is soothing and helps relieve itchy eyes.

this product can be used on pet canaries?
