Can you use this on an outdoor cat?

This can be used on outdoor cats. It is not recommended to let your dog or cat ingest or lick No Mosquitoz. However, if they do lick the applied bug spray there will not be enough of the essential oils to harm them. You can apply this to the palm of your hand and then rub it onto your pet to give them a lighter application as well. Spraying it around the pet and not on the pet is also another way to use the product safely. When applied directly to the pet it will not cause skin irritations or make them sick unless they have an allergy to an ingredient in this product.

Does it repel and kill biting midges?

This repellant is a botanical bug spray made with a blend of natural essential oils, including rosemary, lemongrass, geranium and citronella oils. It works safely* and effectively against gnats, small biting flies including biting midges (“no-see-ums”), stable flies, northern black flies (“buffalo gnats” or “turkey gnats) and mosquitoes.

Did not work for our pups

This product did not work for our pups. We are in the woods and outdoors daily and I hoped to be able to keep the annoying bugs away with this more natural product

This product did not work for our pups. We are in the woods and outdoors daily and I hoped to be able to keep the annoying bugs away with this more natural product. Sadly this product made no difference and the bugs swarmed our pups as usual. I’m glad I only bought the small bottle.

Using a towel I can get further down to protect his ears more. He comes to me when he sees me grab the towel and bottle because he knows we are out to play!

My dog is always scratching. Even though he has been on both Nexguard or topical flea and tick treatments, it looks like he gets either ant or other bugs biting

My dog is always scratching. Even though he has been on both Nexguard or topical flea and tick treatments, it looks like he gets either ant or other bugs biting his underbelly when he lays in the dry grass/weeds common in the CA summer. I thought a repellent would help. But, it seems it is minimally effective. It doesn’t help that he licks the treated areas when we’re not watching him. This product might do better if it had a lick repellent also.

Not very good

The fact it didn't repel the Nats. My dog sneezed and rubbed it off of her ASAP. Maybe it's my dog but I tried it on me and had no effect on the nats. I'm sorry
