My daughter’s dog likes it so far. I hope it will hold up for her.

I thought it would be durable

This was a super cute Stuffy! The neck is bendable. With legs, tail and head giving extra chew areas or places grab to return after tossing. The covering is a soft stuffed toy type fabric. There is a hard plastic tubing for the bendable neck. The toy has enough stuffing in it. My Beagle, George is an aggressive chewer. He did chew a hole asap and began pulling stuffing as he usually does. The neck plastic tubing did not shatter, which was good. After the initial tear into toy event, we now use it as a toss and return toy. Though this handled like a normal stuffed dog toy for my aggressive chewer, I believe for a lesser chewer this would be perfect. It is sewn well enough to hold up to say my Jack Russell.

First off, I received this as a gift and would not have selected this toy, but since we got it, I wanted to offer a review that might help others. Big Ted is not

First off, I received this as a gift and would not have selected this toy, but since we got it, I wanted to offer a review that might help others. Big Ted is not a super aggressive chewer in that his mission is not to destroy his toys, but he is a strong chewer. He is not a fan of "fuzzy" toys, which is why I would not have purchased this for him. He likes the fire hose / canvass toys, balls, and he's pretty obsessed with a rubber chicken right now (also a gift that I would have never picked!). Typically, he will run around the yard and parade with his toys and do some mild chewing, but in this case, he immediately wanted to chew on it. While the toy is plush, it has hard plastic bendable joints inside the neck and legs, and that's what Teddy was after. If you see in the 4th photo, he actually chewed the first of the plastic joints off after 13 minutes, then continued chewing and continued breaking off the plastic joint pieces. He doesn't swallow the pieces, so I was able to watch him closely and let him keep going just to see how far he would go with it. But obviously, I would not let him have this toy unattended! Afte 25 minutes, it was naptime, and since the initial destruction period, it has now become his favorite toy to pick from the toybox and parade around with. He hasn't been chewing on it any more, I guess he proved his point. I would not recommend this toy if your dog is destructive with their toys because the small plastic pieces are definitely a choking hazard. But if you have a dog that takes care of their toys, then this is otherwise well made and cute. It does not have a squeaker, so it is also a quiet toy.

Crackly little chew toy

First of all this came in a super tiny box, I was surprised that it was able to fit but it arrived perfectly and it has become my puppies favorite toy! The joints inside that let the neck and legs bend makes a crackly noise that she absolutely loves. It seems to be a nice toy for teething as well with a soft outside and firm inside. She was able to put a hole in it after a few weeks of constant chewing, but I've just sewn it up and she still adores it.

Not for Aggressive Chewers

First off, I received this toy as a gift, and knowing my dog (Big Ted), I would not have selected it, mostly because it is a plush toy, and he is not a fan of plush

First off, I received this toy as a gift, and knowing my dog (Big Ted), I would not have selected it, mostly because it is a plush toy, and he is not a fan of plush toys. But since we got it, I thought I would share our experience. First off, he was definitely interested in the toy straight out of the box. Every new toy becomes his favorite, so his reaction in that sense was standard. Typically he will run around and parade with his toys, but in this case, he was immediately interested in chewing on it. (Teddy is not a super aggressive chewer, but he is a very strong chewer. He's a 45 lb. mixed breed, so a medium sized dog.) His favorite chew

Fun toy but with a short life span

I could see this being a fun toy for the right dog. It has a long neck which makes it easy for a dog to carry. It makes a slight noise that I could see some dogs

I could see this being a fun toy for the right dog. It has a long neck which makes it easy for a dog to carry. It makes a slight noise that I could see some dogs being attracted to. And if you have a dog who likes to play fetch and not destroy the toy, I could see this being a fun toy. For us, it it unfortunately hit the trash can in about a 20 minute time period. When I first started sharing the Nocciola Twistable Giraffe with my 40 lb dog, she was a bit nervous due to the noise coming from the toys twistable neck. It makes a crackling paper sound when moved. So, when I left the toy for her to play with, she didn't want to have anything to do with it on her own. But when I started teasing her with it, chasing her around and playing with her like a tug toy, she had fun with me. After playing with her for a bit and getting her comfortable with the toy, I left it on the bed with her and left the room. When I returned 5 minutes later, I found it torn and shredded to pieces. So, once my dog accepted the toy, she enjoyed playing with it so much that it's had a short life span.
