Slick as snot!

I got this ramp because my older dog’s back legs are getting weak and it is hard for her to jump up on the couch. The ramp has 2 settings. First I had it on the steep one, she tried to use it but slid back to the floor. I put it on the more shallow incline, but she had the same problem. The ramp had a very thin pile fiber that has stripes making it look like it’s ribbed for grip. In reality, the stripes are an optical illusion, the surface of the ramp is completely smooth and downright slippery! They should market it as a slide, not a ramp. I am going to purchase some silicon caulking and try to modify it so she can use it, I can’t believe it was so expensive and the surface is such terrible quality.
