I bought this as a Father’s Day present and by Labor Day it had warped to the point the roof was coming off. It hung under a deck so it did get rained on but not directly. The recipient was so upset that I am attempting to glue the roof back and then add a couple layers of clear waterproof paint. They don’t want to get rid of it. Looked nice for a few weeks
Nicely constructed, except plywood sublayer needs to be sealed by customer
The bottom layer of the roof is made of plywood. This needs to be sealed, or rain will cause the plies to separate.

Broken - do not buy
The plexi glass panels on the side are not long enough and don’t hold the seed inside the feeder.

Not great
I thought this would be a good bird feeder but the plastic clear sides that keeps the feed in are too small and immediately popped off after 1 day and I couldn’t
I thought this would be a good bird feeder but the plastic clear sides that keeps the feed in are too small and immediately popped off after 1 day and I couldn’t get them back on at all. So now I just have to make a pile in the center and the birds go inside. The old saying “you get what you pay for” keeps running through my head.
Beautiful feeder
I love the unique style of this feeder. And so easy to use...just lift the roof to fill. Holds 4.5 cups of food. This feeder is so popular that it was backordered
I love the unique style of this feeder. And so easy to use...just lift the roof to fill. Holds 4.5 cups of food. This feeder is so popular that it was backordered 3 weeks when I ordered it. However, without even asking, Chewy awarded me a $20 gift certificate for the inconvenience. I love Chewy!! Their customer service exceeds all of my expectations.
cheaply constructed
disappointed that the North States chalet bird feeder is constructed of thin, cheap wood that was stapled together - and broke in transit. Not sturdy and poorly
disappointed that the North States chalet bird feeder is constructed of thin, cheap wood that was stapled together - and broke in transit. Not sturdy and poorly put together. Definitely not worth the money. Was hoping for a wooden bird feeder that would be an improvement over cheap plastic but this is not it
