The bag of Now Fresh arrived & before I finished unpacking the box, my herd of cats had me surrounded. I liked the packing & the small kibble. Apparently, the cats like the smell, though I could not detect any odor, a plus in my book! Every one of the kitties are the food without reservation. Best of all, there was no post mealtime vomiting! So it seems quite digestible!

Loved the fact adding water makes a gravy

So I was super thrilled to find this. I had had 2 of my cats on the Sr version of this cat food and they really liked it. Plus it kept their weight under control

So I was super thrilled to find this. I had had 2 of my cats on the Sr version of this cat food and they really liked it. Plus it kept their weight under control. When I saw they had 2 new flavors/versions where when water is added it creates a gravy; I thought, 2 for 1 great way to encourage your cat to stay hydrated plus, can still be a crunchy food to help keep their teeth healthy too. However; Misty decided she's not overly thrilled about her dry food being wet lol, she loves the gravy like broth, she loves the food dry but; together she just wasn't very excited. However, there is a plus here, most dry food will become soggy when water is added; something I actually expected might happen. NOPE! They dry food stays crunchy no matter how long it sat in the water to produce the gravy. So all in all, She liked it but I think she'd have loved it more if the gravy was seperate and her eat it from 2 dishes lol. Course Misty is a bit weird anyway; she's got a significant flea allergy and when it gets bad; well for some very Odd reason our vet can't figure out as yet; she Drools lol; think baby teething drool. We don't know if its allergy related or what but when it does get triggered, the fact that this food stays crunchy after getting wet is wonderful! No offensive odor, it smells like what the flavor you get smells like pretty much and just strong enough to attract your cat to want to eat it IMO.

After reading the reviews I had high hopes...i was genuinely excited but it was a let down. I have five cats I'm feeding and I feel like they're eating it only because that's what available. They leave a lot of food behind when they didn't with the last brand of food I was feeding them (Purina kitten chow). I probably won't buy this again.

The four cats we have love this stuff dry and with it's broth. the kibbles are very small and pleasing to the eye. It has a pleasant fishy scent. I tried it dry first and it was readily eaten up. Next feeding I mixed it with a little bit of warm water to make a gravy and this was eagerly devoured. I like the seal on the bag to keep it fresh, but I doubt it will last that long.

I have taken to rationing it in hopes the bag lasts through the holidays. I would recommend this to anyone with a finicky feline or cat on a restricted, no-grain diet.
