Nulo Cold Pressed Puppy & Adult Grain-Free Salmon Recipe Dry Dog Food, 4-lb bag

My puppy was eating Hill's Science Diet, and the food would sit there all day, and I felt like he was eating it at night as a last resort. Bought Nulo purely based on the reviews here on Chewy, and the puppy runs to the bowl in the morning to eat. Forgot to transition him slowly, so he got the runs after the first day, but this issue goes away if you follow the food transition recommendations.

My dogs really like this food although I'm using it as treats rather than actual meals. I'm a big fan of air dried food and freeze dried, so I was stoked to try out cold pressed too. I think it's a really quality food and a great option for trying raw without actually having to buy/store/feed raw food, but I can't imagine it being very cost effective when you can achieve the same with freeze dried food for a [slightly] cheaper cost. But if you can justify feeding such an expensive food, I think your dog will love it!

I got this for my show dog as an alternative to freeze dried and i like the idea of the cold pressed. I never got the chance to feed it to him. I have a nine year old who had stopped eating. I had tried about everything, dry, wet, human, even prescription diet. I grabbed a few pieces almost as a last resort. He loved it. Granted, not much at a time, but he’s continuing to eat it daily and only it. I’m thrilled and will continue to use it.
