What is in the chicken broth?

The chicken broth in this recipe is made by cooking chicken and chicken bones in the same process as making stock. Broth adds moisture while enhancing the protein level and palatability of the food, rather than diluting it.

We only use the broth for now and freeze it in as mini ice cubes to add to the food. Our senior cat (who left us a year ago) loved the broth in this, and now our 2 kittens really like to have the broth added to their food. When they are older I will try to have them eat the chicken pieces but for now I'm all in with this!

Millie loves the broth. She prefers that to the chicken pieces in the package. We finally found Nulo after trying many other brands of wet foods. She will not eat a pasty or solid wet cat food. If the brand had any gravy in it she licked up the gravy and ignored the rest. Nulo has a good amount of chicken broth in it. Some days she nibbles a bit on the solid chicken pieces. I feed Nulo to her in a bowl separately from her crunchies. Twice a day. She also has unlimited access to Science Diet chicken recipe. She is 22 months old. An adoption.

My cat has a sensitive stomach. I started buying this because it is one of the only wet foods he can stomach without vomiting and I didn’t want him to only eat his dry prescription diet. However in more recent and frequent feedings, he has now started vomiting this up. I’m not sure if the quality of the ingredients has gone downhill or if other changes have been made but I will no longer be buying this. Sad day!
