Feeding Instructions
This is a complementary food intended to be fed with a complete and balanced dog food diet.
Transition Instructions
When first introducing your pet to Nulo, we recommend slowly transitioning over the course of 5 to 7 days to reduce the risk of digestive upset that can occur with a rapid change in diet. We recommend portioning 25% of the new food on the first day mixed with 75% of the former food. Over the course of several days, gradually increase this ratio until you are feeding 100% of the new food. This will allow your pet's digestive system time to adjust to any new ingredients and will help to ensure a smooth transition. Mixing up proteins can be a great way to provide variety to your pet's diet. Once your pet has transitioned to the Nulo platform, rotating between recipes is generally seamless!

What is the expiration date for each package
Answer by • May 04, 2023
Every expiration date will be different for each case, as different batches are constantly being produced. The expiration date will be stamped on the bottom of each can.
To use as a food topper, how many serving does each package make?
Answer by • May 04, 2022
Each packet is 2.8oz per serving and can be fed in one serving or given multiple times through the day! We simply recommend storing any unused portion in fridge within 2 hours and feed within 2-3 days.
Do you know the salt/sodium content of each pouch?
Answer by • Sep 15, 2020
Nulo FreeStyle Chicken, Salmon, & Carrot in Broth Dog Food Topper has approximately 28.5 milligrams of sodium per pouch.
I could easily make this, but it’s so much easier just to buy these little packets. My pup is not a voracious eater. Never seems excited about her meals. I use have a packet and each meal, and now she actually eats!

Natural, no additives.
The best thing about this dry food topper is the fact that it only contains 4 ingredients.

Unable to divide
I wanted a topper to share between multiple dogs. One portion could only be used for one dog as it was a mush of ingredients, very difficult to divide. They liked it.

Really surprised
Only had 4 ingredients - generally like the brand, but 1st attempt dog puked, tried a few days later, dog puked again - so this is a no go for us!

Great Product!
My Dog won't eat dry food so he needs an incentive. He loves this Topper. 4 ingredients is a bonus too, but only gave 4 stars because the packaging is horrible. One package lasts me days and you can't re-seal it or mix it when it's been opened.

They all LOVE this!
I tried this hoping to see some excitement at meal time. I place a small amount on top of their Nulo canned food and they are in heaven. A delicious, healthy product ~ 5 paws up!

Adds flavor
My dog is on Royal Canin which he doesn't really like too much. I am using this in limited manner to enhance the flavor. Good news, it seems to be working!

Good Food for dogs
I was given a pouch of this good from a friend of mine for my chi.
He is a VERY picky. I have tried all kinds of food for him. I resorted to cooking his door because he does not like a lot of canned dog food,I can't blame him with all the junk they put in them. He then was having problems and went to the vet. He was but on chicken breast food to help him,so we started to cook that with some carrots & broth. Helped
I tried NULO food and he loved it.
Now,that is what I feed him along with the chicken I cook with broth.
I hear his food with both foods and he loves it.
So happy to finally find a good he will eat.
