When first introducing your pet to Nulo, we recommend slowly transitioning over the course of 5 to 7 days to reduce the risk of digestive upset that can occur with a rapid change in diet. We recommend portioning 25% of the new food on the first day mixed with 75% of the former food. Over the course of several days, gradually increase this ratio until you are feeding 100% of the new food. This will allow your pet's digestive system time to adjust to any new ingredients and will help to ensure a smooth transition. Mixing up proteins can be a great way to provide variety to your pet's diet. Once your pet has transitioned to the Nulo platform, rotating between recipes is generally seamless!
These protein-rich diets have proteins from animal sources as the first 3-4 ingredients. Low-carb and low-glycemic ingredients provide stable energy levels, while the proprietary BC30 probiotic aids digestive and immune health. Plus, they’re made without pea protein, white potatoes, corn, tapioca, wheat or soy.
Raising the Bar on What’s in Their Bowl
From their careful selection of ingredients—like protein-rich turkey, lamb, salmon, chicken, beef and duck—to low-glycemic carb source choices like lentils, chickpeas, barley, oat, millet and sweet potatoes, Nulo approaches pet food the way they approach everything—no shortcuts allowed.

It says on the packaging it suitable for cats AND KITTENS. Not sure why you are confused.

It’s clear that my deliveries must go to the garage. There’s a huge obvious polite sign as well reminding them to not leave anything at the front door. My address is actually my garage to that’s the actual front of my house.
Anyone not redirecting my delivery needs will force me to make a return request through chewy for a full refund and fed ex to come pick up the return. Instructions are clear and my ask is reasonable. It’s been almost three weeks and 106$ worth of premium cat food sits outside of my front steps through the rain, cold and snow waiting for fed ex pick up. That package can sit there all year or if the raccoons get it first bon appetit

Solved the Hairball problem
It has been about 6 weeks that my cat has been eating this. Because of some of the other reviews about the kibble being too small, I only gave her a tablespoon each serving mixed in with Nulo's raw dry food. (I try to feed my female cat as much raw food as possible.) That did the trick! She has not vomited since. Prior to this, she was coughing up hairballs at least once a week. It's a big bag, and at a tablespoon a day, it will last forever with only one cat so I intend to share some with my cat friends!

Would not recommend
Good ingredients but the kibble is micro pellets. Not good for digestion or teeth health.

Cleo loves it!
My cat loves this dry food! The pieces are small, as other reviewers stated but no issue for my kitty. She still has occasional hairballs but they are pretty rare. Nulo usually makes high quality food, so I highly recommend!

small pieces
Got this for my 2 cats to try out the pieces are way to small rabbit sized my cats refused to eat it they could barely pick up the tiny pieces might be good for cats that maybe like to eat fast without chewing so it’s less of a chance of choking or older cats with no teeth. And to top it off this part is not the company’s fault but my cat was allergic to this food.

My cat loves this Nulo Hairball management food
My cat likes the small kibbles and does not make a mess with them around her dish unless I overfill it. This cat food keeps her hair balls in check and as an over groomer this is very important for her.

Hairball issues = managed!
our cat was having issues with a hairball she didn’t want to throw up but was causing her to constantly cough and hack, so our vet recommended a hairball management food. after some research I found this one and I liked it the most because of the high protein content, where most hairball foods have a high amount of carbs.
she loved it and we’ve noticed marked improvement w her hairballs & coughing! she’s a picky eater and loves this food, so much so that we switched our other cat to it.
yes the kibbles are small but we love to sprinkle them onto a slow feeder, they’re great for that!

good quality of food but
Too small of pieces I find them everywhere but in the cats mouth. This company makes great quality products BUT so hit & miss. My cat hated both flavors. I tried mixing with normal food & no luck either. Will probably donate to some shelter
