Good food, but they don't like it!
By NDJo on Aug 16, 2020 Top 100 Contributor
My English Bulldog/Great Pyrenees has been put on a diet by the Vet, so I have been trying different low kcal canned foods, this one wasn't acceptable to her. It is a good food from reading the ingredients, she just wouldn't eat it.

Devoured by a picky eater

My senior large picky eater enjoys this so much at times she seems to be attempting to eat the bottom out of her bowl. Finally a real winner for Ms. Picky Paws.

Works well for diabetic dog
By FrankP on Apr 5, 2020
My 13 year old diabetic Bichon does well on this food. He is a very fussy eater and we do have to change food often, but I am usually able to get him back on Nulo Adult Trim Turkey & Cod after a short break. His glucose levels do much better on the Nulo. I sometimes supplement it with 1/2 ounce of boiled chicken or salmon, just enough to change the taste and keep it interesting.

Tasty dog food that even the picky eater will eat
By Autumn on Oct 1, 2019
Both my dogs loved null freestyle Turkey & Cod Recipe for dogs. Not only is this product good for overweight dogs but it is also palitable for the finicky dog like my little spoiled dog who will walk away and not eat most dog food. I am very satisfied. Thank you for recommending this product.

Working well for diabetic dog
By Paws2Enjoy on Sep 21, 2019
After running numbers on countless canned dog foods, Nulo Trim/Weight Management has turned out to be a wonderful, safe option for my diabetic dog. She loves this stuff, I can take a back-up can with me and feed/administer insulin on the side of the road if I'm out and about. This canned food has given me some freedom in our 12-hour feed/injection regime.

Excellent Food for your overweight best friend!
By Mimi on Aug 22, 2019
My buddy sustained a tendon injury that required weight loss like now! After a difficult long search for a food that he would eat! Success and the weight loss he so needed as an elderly friend after years of too many snacks.

Fur baby on diet

My Boerboel South African Mastiff, Bella is 8 yrs old n 25 pds overweight. So I was looking for a good food to help her slowly trim down. Dog Food Advisor suggested Nulo. I feed her 1/2 cup dry (Nulo fit n trim) mixed with X amount of canned per feeding, plus calculating her activity level I cut just a FEW calories every two weeks, now she is slowly starting to lose weight, no digestion issues so far...She does do #2 more bc of the fiber but its solid :) She seems to be feeling better too. SLOW weight loss is KEY, to fast it can cause major health issues. Both my old & young active dogs love this food added to their NULO kibble! Good protein level, expecting it will help lower or maintain their weight, without sacrificing nutrition.
