I'll start by saying that all our cats absolutely loved the Nulo Prowess AIO cat food. The moment they've been laid in front of them, they started devouring it!

I'll start by saying that all our cats absolutely loved the Nulo Prowess AIO cat food. The moment they've been laid in front of them, they started devouring it! Ingredients wise, really well formulated, lots of supplemental nutrients seems well balanced with all real meats as first couple of ingredients. Which gives us confidence in trust the quality of this food. We got the Beef and Lamb and again they ate them fast. I wish they have more larger sized cans available for multiple cats households.

Want to give a good review but made my cat sick

I want to like this food because my cat seemed to enjoy it but she got sick after eating it. The first time I gave it to her she got sick (more than a hairball)

I want to like this food because my cat seemed to enjoy it but she got sick after eating it. The first time I gave it to her she got sick (more than a hairball) multiple times over a few hours. I waited a week and gave it to her again and she did not get sick. I waited another week and gave it to her a theirs time and she got sick again (similar to the first experience). Maybe there is something in the food that does not agree with her stomach? The food looked good and smelled fine and she liked eating it. I’m going to give the rest to my mother in law to see if her cat will tolerate it.

The taste must be great, because my cats just gobbled this up! You get a good amount in these smaller cans as well.

I have heard wonderful things in online forums regarding the “Nula” line of cat food. They offer both wet and dry foods. I received the “Nula Prowess All-in-One Beef & Lamb Recipe in Broth in Shreds.” My cat George is a senior, very picky eater, plus is prone to stomach upset with certain foods. I mixed this in with his regular wet food for about a week and a half prior to feeding it solely to make sure George was able to tolerate this with no stomach upset. I took my time with introducing it as this is the holiday season and my home is the gathering place for family and friends. The last thing I needed was George to be sick. George loved this food and it was easy for him to eat being in a shreds and in a broth, which I always add daily to his meals. He had absolutely no stomach issues and I noticed he ate this food a lot faster than his normal food and still did not have stomach upset. I love the ingredients and vitamins in this food. It has 25 essential nutrients such as omega fatty acids, taurine, and antioxidants. It is suitable for both kittens and adult cats. The first few ingredients are beef broth (which I’m always looking for), beef, dried egg product, beef liver and lamb - in this order. It’s very refreshing to see these ingredients at the top of the list rather than fillers, etc. I tried to include a picture of the ingredients for you to view. George cannot eat anything with bad ingredients due to his stomach sensitivities. This food is also formulated to meet the nutritional needs established by the AAFCO cat food nutrient profiles for kittens, cats and seniors. This is also VERY important to me and I always look at labels prior to purchasing any foods for my pets. On a side note, I usually buy wet food that contains seafood as George loves fish! I have purchased wet food containing beef, lamb, chicken etc sporadically. This passed the test. George LOVES the Prowess Beef & Lamb recipe in broth. I will definitely be purchasing this again for him. I did run into a slight problem, however. I have 4 pit bulls that I adopted from our shelter and they smell this food the minute I pop the top. They love beef and lamb and that is a staple in their wet food. They’re huge compared to tiny George and it doesn’t take anything to move him over so they could devour this. I actually had to make some adjustments as to where I fed George this. He wasn’t happy when I put him in my room with the door closed to eat. He loves his big brothers and sisters and is always with them. So, I decided to set up one of George’s placemats on a table in the actual room he always eats in and gave him his food. Problem solved. This is a wonderful wet food in shreds containing broth to make it tastier and easier to eat for senior cats. I am extremely happy with this and I know George is as well.

The next day, I opened another can and they were equally interested in the smell, but this time they were interested in eating it, too. The 3rd time I served it, they just licked off the gravy and left the bits. Based on the way the cats ate it, I’d say they like it decently enough, but wouldn’t give it 5 stars. The mince is small, the size of bacon bits. It’s loosely packed in the can with a decent amount of gravy. The texture seems soft enough to mash with the back of a spoon if you want the bits smaller. Recommend!
