Every cat has different tastes

I have a 17lbs 2.5yo male cat and a 1 yo female kitten. I love that this food is made with real chicken and no corn, wheat, or soy. I was excited about the gut health

I have a 17lbs 2.5yo male cat and a 1 yo female kitten. I love that this food is made with real chicken and no corn, wheat, or soy. I was excited about the gut health and weightloss abilities. The day I recieved it, I put it on my table and the cats shredded the bag. Kibble was everywhere. However, after that, the cats would not eat it. I put it in their bowls, added it to their wet food, even tried to give it as a treater. They would not touch it. The dog loved it. Its small kibbles. No real scent. Doesnt crumble. I would recommend for the real chicken and no corn but my cats would not recommend it.

I set this out among other food bowls for my 4 cats — two healthy weight, one borderline and one overweight. Typically any new food is welcomed and devoured by all, but this time they all preferred their usual fare. Even when other bowls were empty, the Nulo dish went lightly touched. I’m sure if it were their only available choice, they’d eat it (maybe that’s how the weight control claim works?) but given options, they decided otherwise. I may try isolating our one chonker’s feeding bowl and seeing if it makes a difference, but I suspect she will just hold out and scavenge from her co-kitties’ usual grub.

I liked the ingredient list - we don't feed legumes - and protein level, but did not realize the pieces were so tiny. Like hamster food. All three of the cats tried

All three of the cats tried a tentative bite and refused to eat more. The ingredients are similar to what we always feed so I think the size was throwing them off.

Small size kibble for big appetites.

My 8 year old male cat loved it. He could use a low weight food, but is on a special diet for urinary crystals. This food ingredients doesn't meet his needs there

My 8 year old male cat loved it. He could use a low weight food, but is on a special diet for urinary crystals. This food ingredients doesn't meet his needs there. My 4 year old male who can eat anything snubbed it. But I shared it with a friend who has five cats and they all loved it. Also, the cats near me who are in a feral colony loved it as well. I will share more with the animal shelter I volunteer at.

Kitties seem to like it except my older guy who is a little more spoiled than the rest but at almost 20 years old he can do what he likes. :) The other 3 are enjoying

Kitties seem to like it except my older guy who is a little more spoiled than the rest but at almost 20 years old he can do what he likes. :) The other 3 are enjoying their new diet. No issues and all of the crew is happy. The kibble is nice and small in size so even kittens would be able to eat it. There are no dyes that I can see and kitties have not experienced any belly upset.
