Our senior dogs like it, and they are picky!

We chose this project for our senior dogs, as the small breeds we own are prone to leg arthritis. While it’s only been about 10 days, so I’m not directly seeing results in their mobility, I’m a getting them to eat the pill. Because they are soo small and have almost to no teeth, we break them up in pieces. It’s easy enough to do and even the pickiest of them, the Yorkie, will take the supplement. It’s a win. And if the product only does a small percentage of the claim, we are getting great benefits. So far so good!

Received the product and started both my dogs on it with their evening meals. While it's only been a couple of weeks I have noticed both dogs, who we believe are about about 12 & 13, moving up & down stairs with more pep and ease over the last few days. Mornings are getting colder here in Colorado so both dogs seemed to be stiffer in the morning, but after a couple of weeks I've noticed an improvement in their movement to include running up stairs and even skipping a step. One dog is 8lbs and the other 15lbs. The 8lb dog usually stares out the door looking at me to pick her up and take her down the stairs, but the last few days she has ran out on her own and ran back in with pep. One dog needed to see the Vet last week for a medication review & blood work, and while there I asked their Vet what she thought of this supplement and she replied that this brand was one of the best and will hep with their joints. I feel that it has and I have also noticed they are sleeping better. I recommend this product and will add to my food order.

I have not really had enough time to determine if this product is better than the original Cosequin. Both of my dogs have been using Cosequin for some time now and I feel that the product is helping them. The new Cosequin Elements has Greenlipped Mussels and Egg Shell membranes. My senior Bullmastiff, Connie, loves the taste and I believe it is an additional help. My other dog, Jeffrey, took one sniff and refuses to eat it. He has no problem with the original Cosequin though. Connie is 11 1/2 years old (quite elderly for a Bullmastiff). She does seem to be getting around better and she doesnt seem quite as stiff when standing up after a nap. I am pleased so far with this product but would like to update again after a couple of months. I would recommend this product and I highly recommend Chewy.com.

Very good product as far as I can tell. I wasn’t able to use the product long enough to see if it made any difference. I chose this product because it has eggshell membrane in it. My dog loved the tablets. He would eat them by themselves or when I added to his food. The only reason for the four stars was I needed to feed three tablets each day and the bottle only has 75 tablets. That would last me only 25 days however I would recommend if you want to try it.
Good for my ol' lab by helping with his mobility
Been giving my dog glucosamine meds for years. He seems to do really well on it, helping with his old bones. I like this has the green mussel in it as I've heard

I like this has the green mussel in it as I've heard that is very good with helping with mobility. He takes tabs easily with his dinner. The only downside is the amount he has to take. Being 98 lbs he has to take 3 (the reason for 4-stars). But, I'm sure that's how it has to be to get the correct dosage for his size. I've always has great luck with this brand, so I'm confident it will help long-term.

My dog loves the flavor of these. We have tried several joint supplements over the years but she won’t eat any of them but this one. It smells a little like fish

It smells a little like fish oil to me, but not strong and she must love the scent because she is always excited for them with her meals. She has some minor arthritic changes starting up, and these seem to help her with that.
My dog didn't like them
My 15 lb Lhasa Apso will not eat these no matter how I try to give them to them. They smell stronger than some brands which is why I think he doesn't like them

They are a bigger round pill which I think makes it hard for him to chew with his smaller mouth. I am sure these work for some especially a bigger dog but they did not work for us.

I have used the regular Cosequin for years. This product has green lipped mussels, eggshell membrane and hyaluronic acid added to it. It does have a slight smell
